A young Bradenton mother says she was in fear when she looked at her Ring App and saw armed men at her door.
Kada Staples says the men had their weapons pointed at her door and when she said hello, they ordered her to come out and said “we know he’s in there”.
The armed men were U.S. Marshals. Staples believes they were looking for a murder suspect, but they had the wrong apartment. At the time she opened her door and still didn’t understand what was going on.

They are holding us at gunpoint, screaming, there is a gun about a foot away from her face, ” said Staples as she held her three-month-old baby.
She said the U.S. Marshals kept saying,” We know Jamar is in there.”
“With that, they run in my apartment. There’s probably 6 or 7 of them out there with guns. 3 or 4 of them run into my apartment and are running around. They are still yelling at me that I’m lying,” said Staples.
She says she had been napping with her infant and was the only one inside when the Marshals soon realized their mistake.
“Then one of the guys in the hallway is like, wait, this is apartment and then said my apartment number and then kind of repeated it again and then they ran out and said, that’s the wrong apartment,” said Staples.

“No sorry, no nothing, they tell me, you’re good and another one said you’re fine,” said Staples.
She says when she called the U.S. Marshals Service to ask why officers had entered her apartment, she asked if they could provide a mental health counselor to help her deal with the anxiety brought on by the event.
She says a man on the phone told her to take melatonin and “get over it.”
8 On Your Side has called and emailed the U.S. Marshals service to find out why officers were at the wrong apartment and to find out if the officers involved will face any discipline. The U.S. Marshals Service and the U.S. Department of Justice have not responded.

A county sheriff or local police officer should have been included in the planning of the raid as well as on the scene. They would know the area and addresses better than out of towners.
The DCAA’s records/archives suck big time. Try finding older contract/case files. More holes in their collection than a block of Swiss cheese hit by a 105mm Flechette artillery shell.
Don’t worry lady. They did nothing wrong. The “thin blue line” will explain that to you, as will the courts, and politicians. The police never do anything wrong.

The Feds almost never lower themselves to talking with the locals.
That’s why your County Sheriff simply must notify every single Federal law enforcement agency in writing of his order. And then back it up with jail cells.

There is a fat assed, overpaid clerk at the courthouse who’s mad because typing up the warrant took time away from her surfing Facebook, tik tok, Amazon, and Poshmark.
I can only hope that the techies out there will doxx these roided up freaks for later direct action by We the People.
Lesson: do not answer your door to anyone you are not expecting, especially the police. Don’t acknowledge them or that you are there.
If it’s the police and they have a warrant, let them knock the door down.
No. Do not acknowledge them at all. Pretend you are not home.
But do call 911. Say men with guns and drugs and it looks like they have a hostage.
