A white male marketing vice president from a North Carolina has been awarded a $10million 'reverse discrimination' payout from the hospital which fired him and replaced him with two women, one of whom is black.

He says he was inexplicably terminated just days before reaching his five year work anniversary, a milestone that would have awarded him a higher severance payout than what he was given.
He was replaced by two women - Kate Everett, a white woman who had worked with him and was promoted to take the role of Chief PR and Communications Officer and Vicky Free, a black woman who was given the role of Chief Marketing Officer.

Uh, hate to break it to you, but it's EXACTLY a case against D&I. This hateful philosophy is rooted in culling whites and "white adjacent" people, aka Asians, from their "privileged" positions by giving blacks, Latinos, queers, etc. a leg up. It's pathetic that he and his legal team are still trying to pander!
Not so fast! You an bet it will be appealed, appealed, appealed. If the Appeals court agrees, and SCOTUS denies cert, it is good to go!
I've experienced this FIRST HAND. THREE women replaced me when I left my old job and a year later I phoned an engineer who still worked on the program and he said "assignments go into that dept but they NEVER come out!"
Not even higher ones. My aunt worked in a bank branch and was sent packing 18mos before she was due to qualify for the company pension she’d worked toward for umpteen years.

Exactly....they offer these things such as bonus etc...then renege one way or another.
I was offered a comfy bonus if I could sell x amount of the services offered from the company I worked for in one week. It was a challenge which required careful planning and extraordinary use of my time. Well I did it and those in the office were ready to celebrate this feat with me.....until the owner called me into his office and said there was a misunderstanding. ...I never say any bonus.
Needless to say I handed in my notice the following day....and that as of that day I was done.
There are worse ways to spend tax money.

I said exactly that 25 years ago when I was put through new hire diversity training.
The concept of “reverse discrimination” presumes discrimination on the part of the one being truly discriminated against by the actual racist.
They call it “affirmative action”. Cute.
AA just means unqualified non whites getting positions that would normally go to whites. Especially white males.
