“Hillary hit the hardest!”

Not NEARLY hard enough; hasn’t knocked any sense into her.

After George Soros drove the price down and bought it all up.

If one read the entire article then it is full of BLAH......

It actually suggests that we could gear up to run the entire world on batteries. Leaving out the limitations of lithium mining and everything associated with lithium(The list is long).

It is an article that starts out sounding rational with its hook. Then it hoodwinks the reader with propaganda. Typical leftist crap.

Got bad news for you.
If a nuke plant gets too hot, it scrams. Shuts down completely. Even Homer Simpson would have trouble causing a meltdown. The fuel slowly decays in its containment.
As for the waste, that’s the point of the fast breeder - it converts spent fuel into more fuel.

Oh really. You don’t think that all those reactors at Fukishmi scrammed before they melted down. You really believe that a scrammed reactor does not need to be cooled? You need to do some research because they need to be cooled for months before they can even be unloaded. Any interruption in cooling and those reactors start gaining heat at an exponential rate. The fact that they are scrammed only means you get a little more time if the reactor has already cooled down significantly. The reaction still continues only at a reduced rate. Things get out of hand very quickly with a hot reactor when the cooling system goes down. Scrammed or not.

You are pushing a myth put out by the nuclear power industry designed to make the public feel safe. You should have paid more attention to what happened in Japan.

“Green energy” will never work in a free market. It will always require coercion and subsidy to be competitive with fossil fuels

...and I’m not buying everything you are selling.

First off don’t build your plant in a tsunami zone, where it gets drowned while you lose the ability to control the reaction.

Secondly keep up with nuc research that addresses latest activities in the field not old technology. Based on your comments it might appear you are already so engaged.

INL is one of the “labs” heavily engaged in research of safe nuclear energy production. https://inl.gov/research-programs/
