Hilarious. A School district wants an Area 51 NDA for parents to see what their kids are being taught.
Sign it then spill the beans immediately. Tell them you cannot wait for the depositions and trials.

Publicly-funded curriculum NOT to be disclosed publicly?

Something does not compute.

I’m so old I remember when “keep this secret from your parents” was the warning sign of a molester.

Wonder what the school systems are paying for this curriculum. How many other CRT curriculums out there. What do they cost. Follow the money. Thus the copyright and signatures of parents.

Can a county even legally enter into an agreement that makes something not subject to FOIA laws?

Seems to me that right there would be a means of challenging and voiding the County’s agreement.

But I would sign the NDA.
And then when I find objectionable material, I’d use that for testimony before a court to make it public.

I wouldn’t sign something that said I would not bring legal action or talk about what I had seen.

I am confused.

If they are teaching this material, how can they claim that it is not public information? The contention that information given to a room full of kids is private information is ludicrous.

Perhaps they can prevent copying, but I see no way they can prevent conversation and verbal exchange which includes the material being taught.

The parents need a lawyer expert in copyright law and is a fighter in court.
