President Joe Biden decamped to Wilmington on Friday, escaping the White House he's likened to a "gilded cage" for a weekend at his Delaware home. It's yet another weekend away from Washington as the President has spent a noteworthy portion of his first year in office at one of his two Delaware homes or at Camp David, working remotely.
A CNN analysis of Biden's public schedule indicates the President has spent a significant amount of time away from the White House, particularly on weekends, since his January inauguration. Including this weekend's trip to Delaware, Biden has taken 35 personal trips and spent all or part of 108 of his first 276 days in office at one of his Delaware homes or at Camp David in Maryland. That includes partial days, like Friday -- when he spent the day at the White House and departed in the evening.
Sixty-nine of those 108 days away from Washington were spent at his home in Wilmington, spread over 23 visits; seven days at his Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, beach house over two visits; and 32 days at Camp David over 10 visits.
Typically, his chopper commute from the White House to his Wilmington home takes less than an hour, and a White House official noted that many of the partial days included Biden departing the White House at the conclusion of a normal workday on a Friday or returning to Washington before the start of a workday on a Monday.
That puts Biden ahead of the pace set by former President Donald Trump, who had spent less time at his Florida and New Jersey getaways at the same point in his presidency than Biden has spent in Delaware.

Trump’s getaways were for POTUS business. Biden’s are for rest and ongoing therapy.
Working? Really? Biden doesn't even know how to spell the word.
I have no problem with the POTUS being out of DC.
But the term ‘working’ does not nor will it ever apply to #FJB.
Trump didn’t completely disappear for 3 days every weekend
J-O-B is a four letter word to Slow Joe
35 “trips” in 36 weeks! Good for him.
So basically, he occasionally goes to the white House.
Biden Goes to Delaware every weekend - FOR TREATMENT.
And all by subway no doubt
working remotely
Translation: Doddering in front of the TV while commie staffers issue directives in his name that they don’t bother to run by him.
But Biden doesn’t golf, so he’s got that going for him. LOL
Brandon is probably stuffing ballots for his reelection on the weekends.
Biden ocassionaly goes to the White House for optics. His handlers have to remind the people that he is still the president, even though he’s not in charge.
If it were up to Biden himself, he would have retired even before the campaign the last couple years. In fact, he was retired, but democrat leaders had to un-retire him in order to pull of the 2020 election fraud and hoax.

A PERSONAL trip once a week? In other words, FJB is gone every single weekend (which starts Friday at noon). It is so good to be king.
How many FReepers get to take a get-away trip EVERY weekend of their lives?
Is he taking his favorite choo-choo to Delaware? Is he still chatting up his favorite conductor on the train?
You can be sure when he’s done “taking millions of cars off the road” that his car will await him at both ends of his trip.
One of my favorite Bidenisms is one he said in 2008: "This election is about a 3-letter word: J-O-B-S!" LOL
Here’s a question for the PRESS to ask Biden’s Psaki of crapola:
Is President Biden charging the Secret Service rent for the spaces they occupy on ANY of his private residences?
Is he doing that AS HE DID When he was Vice President, you know, when he would go swimming in his pool NAKED and forced female Secret Service Agents to “guard” (namely WATCH him).
The issue: is he charging them RENT for their accommodations when they are ASSIGNED to protect him, as President, at his private residences-— not obviously, the White House.
If he IS charging them rent... then it is definitely emoluments violation of Executive Office ethics and staffing rules.
Odd how some people wonders how communism gets started.
