An illegal alien charged with murdering four Americans over the course of a week in Nevada in 2019 will plead guilty and accept a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Wilbur Ernesto Martinez-Guzman, a 20-year-old illegal alien from El Salvador, was charged with murdering 56-year-old Connie Koontz, 74-year-old Sophia Renken, 81-year-old Gerald David, and his 80-year-old wife, Sharon David, between January 10 and 15. Prosecutors said he was looking to steal money from victims to buy more meth.
The state of Nevada had sought the death penalty but Martinez-Guzman's defense argued he was “mentally disabled” and ineligible for the death penalty.
Last week, Washoe County District Attorney Chris Hicks and Douglas County District Attorney Mark Jackson announced that Martinez-Guzman would be pleading guilty to all four murders.
Larry David, the son of Gerald and Sharon David, said he and his family “fully support … this weighty decision” to accept life in prison for their parents’ murderer. The Davids are survived by four children, 11 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
“From the point from which this horrific event took place for all of us … our hearts are broken,” David said. “And the pain that endures will never be ending.”
“While no verdict will ever bring healing … as a family, we do trust God that he has carried us and that he will continue to go before each and every one of us,” he continued.
In January 2019, Martinez-Guzman stole a handgun from the Davids who had hired him to landscape their property. Police said Martinez-Guzman used the handgun to murder Koontz and Renken, whom he robbed for drug money, before returning to the Davids’ home to murder them as well.

“I will never forget, and I will fight for the memory of Gerald and Sharon, that it should never happen again,” Trump said. “Not one more American life should be lost because our nation failed to control its very dangerous border.”

The illegals should get the firing squad as soon as they are convicted. I don’t want to have to take care of their sorry asses for life.
Exactly...we now have to pay for his “keep.”
Build the wall.
As long as some do-gooder twenty years down the road doesn’t release him....
We’re turning into South Africa.
So now we get to pay to incarcerate this 20-year old for the rest of his life huh?
He gets a guaranteed three hots and a cot for life. Better living conditions than what he likely had in El Salvador. Heck, he doesn’t even have to work to earn the food and lodging. Kill gringos, and get free stuff.
One bullet should be enough. Why waste ammo?
"I'm Barack Obama, I approve of this message"
Forever behind bars. Yeah, that’s much more civilized then just sending him to God for ultimate judgement.
We’re soon going to see more of these types of crime stories - including “illegals” from Afghanistan.
A large migrant caravan is headed our way and I don’t doubt Trump’s contention that these countries are emptying out their prisons and jails and sending them our way.
The Biden admin welcomes them.
As soon as they’re convicted of crossing the border.
Execution by Fauci-funded infected sand flies.
he might have better living conditions than in El Salvador but he is a meth head and life will be very rough for the next few months a has he comes off the drug.
Plus he is kind of soft looking so I guess he will “need” protection in prison, and I am pretty sure he won’t be looking to the Christian or religious groups for protection.
So his choices might be a little limited.
SPJNK.
Alex B. can do that, with one Blank!
Still, we get to subsidize all of it.
