Nope. The DOT issued a regulation that truckers couldn't use local bathrooms in the building "to stop the spread of Covid".

Being the contrarian that I am, I probably would have set up a separate bathroom outside the building just for them. Maybe even a snacks station. And a couple of hand-washing stations in between, just because.

It was interesting to see how the different places reacted differently during the shutdowns. I can only go by what I remember reading here, but as I recall, there were places where they posted signs warning truckers not to stop there, and other places put up signs inviting truckers for free coffee and sandwiches.

I think it is all deliberate.

If it were simple incompetence or stupidity, the laws of averages would result in at least a few things done that would benefit the economy, the military, or American citizens.

Instead, every single action taken produces exactly the same effect a wrecking ball has on a building.

I fear that if this goes on much longer, the damage will be irreversible. Which is their intent, IMO.

I don’t know how it is where you are, but around here I see farmers using both manure and manufactured fertilizers. Although in some cases I think it might be mainly because the manure has to go somewhere.

I really hope my neighbors are braced for this. I grow using natural methods, but all the farms around me are conventional. Things are getting rough.

How long until Biden ties CDL licenses to being vaccinated? Truck drivers who travel between states need a yearly medical evaluation in order to hold a valid CDL. Biden could easily lean on the fed DOT and get it made mandatory.

Yep, and the most frightening thing is he’s only been in office 9 months. He has over 3 YEARS left! No way can we keep going like this. His open borders alone will destroy the country in 3 years. Imagine half a billion illegals eventually coming in out numbering the US population, violence would become the new currency, not money.

However, we saw when the DOT waved a flag and declared that commercial drivers from Mexico could drive on US roads unimpeded, even if their trucks did not meet US requirements.

My faith in big government has waned.
