I don’t know how it is where you are, but around here I see farmers using both manure and manufactured fertilizers. Although in some cases I think it might be mainly because the manure has to go somewhere.

I really hope my neighbors are braced for this. I grow using natural methods, but all the farms around me are conventional. Things are getting rough.

I try to encourage as many people as possible to please get prepared to survive. I don’t have a book to sell, but I’m 88 yrs old and I was raised on a farm that never used any thing “store bought”(they would say). Heritage seeds for a large garden, fruit trees, grapes, berries. kitchen slop and rotting veggies from the garden for the pigs and corn for the rest of the animals. We had no transportation to a store. The store things came from the weekly peddler & bought with eggs. Medicines were mostly natural. Watkins came around from time to time with vanilla & Linament (sp?). I was steeped with that natural means of living. Surviving abundantly on 40 acres where the only crops were corn & Cotton. That was the 1930s. Depression time.
