Pope Francis on Sunday urged countries not to send migrants back to insecure countries such as Libya, where he said many suffer violent and inhumane conditions similar to those in concentration camps.
The pope's appeal at his Sunday blessing came as European Union leaders are struggling to overcome their differences on how to handle immigrants, an issue that feeds support for nationalist and populist groups across the EU.
"We have to put an end to the return of migrants to countries that are not secure," he said, citing "thousands of migrants, refugees and others who need protection in Libya."

Seems the world;s religious leader needs to put his money where his mouth is. It is easy to tell everyone else what to do... how about SHOWING US how it is done.
What about all the people still in those countries?
And, the rest of them relocate to Italy.

Note that the Pope is now using the word MIGRANT, rather than ‘refugee’, since they are simply people looking to improve their lives (at the expense of others, of course).
Send them all to the Vatican. They’ll be safe behind it’s big walls.
The U.S. is plenty unsafe now.
I often equate the United States as a life boat. You see a ship go down in the middle of the ocean, you begin picking up those tossed in the water.
The life boat capacity is 25 people, you take in 28, then 30, then 35. The boat becomes a bit unstable. Feeling sympathy for those about to surely drown, you pull in several more, a few more...the life boat begins to list, taking on water.
Those in the boat begin to bale the water feverishly. The official of the life boat demands we pull in even more from the water.
The life boat then begins to sink. All on board gets thrown into the sea.
Yea...that’s kinda where America stands today.
Send them to the Vatican.

If they send enough of those “migrants” here, we could end up just like the place they came from. Apparently, that seems to be the plan right now.

Perhaps Francis can commission ocean liners, load them with refugees in Libya and transport them for refuge in Argentina. Each ship could hold 4,500 people. That would be impressive.
Right - make your country unsafe with them.
