sounds sort of like the “I’m sorry if anyone was offended by what I said” type of apology.
It recently came out that this letter was written with the help of White House staffers. They knew exactly what they were doing, they just miscalculated the reaction.

The new terrorism is disagreeing with whatever the leftist establishment says.
They still have the presumption in this letter to put school boards in an equal position with parents when it comes to their children’s education. They aren’t equal - no one comes before parents when it comes to deciding what’s best for their children.
If — and I’m being conciliatory saying “if” — they really DO mean it; the proof will be in their actions going forward, and it will become readily apparent in very short order; days not weeks.
I would have thought that the SAFETY OF THE STUDENTS CAME FIRST, FOREMOST AND ALWAYS!

IF they are sorry then Their letter should read
“We were complete morons and control freaks, and we will step down now and let competent people who don’t consider parents to be terrorists take over the board- We are truly sorry for being control freak, bullying idiots, and we know you can’t forgive us, which is why we are stepping down. We let you all down massively- and for whatever it’s worth, we are sorry for turning on fellow Americans like we did”

Parents should make that demand- Tell the members “YOU do NOT come first- our kids come first- You are responsible for their safety, and if you can’t put them first, then you have no business being in charge of our kids!
Yes it is- They got away with it when they called peaceful protestors insurrectionists and domestic terrorists- and now everything is labelled as that-
The left are EXTREMELY vengeful- Conservatives rightfully called blm and antifa domestic terrorists, and tried to get Trump to get them listed as such, so the left came back hard at the right- calling everyone from peaceful protestors to parents concerned about their kids, domestic terrorists- The left are relentless about it too- they will hound someone to the very gates of hell if necessary when they are on a mission to destroy them-
