The National School Boards Association has apologized for a letter that called on the Biden administration to investigate whether alleged threats against school-board members constituted domestic terrorism.
The NSBA Board of Directors apologized in a memorandum to members on Friday. The initial letter, sent on September 29, asked the administration to investigate whether alleged threats to school-board members, over masking policies and “propaganda purporting the false inclusion of critical race theory” in lessons, necessitated federal investigation.

This letter bit the Democrats on their collective asses and seems to have turned the tide in Virginia.
They 1000% do not mean this. Its a forced fake apology because they can’t rationalize their way out of this without an apology.
Too late. They are not sorry. They are sorry they got caught.
Just a little bit too late folks. Words have consequences.

So they apologized to their members but not the parents they accused of being terrorists. How big of them.
Yet they did NOT instruct the DOJ to ignore their letter calling parents terrorists. It took Garland all of FIVE days to sic the FBI on parents as requested by NSBA.
How long will it take Garland to call off the FBI attack dogs?

Yeah, they could have slipped in “We still want to see parents rotting in jail for a year just to teach them a lesson.” I’m surprised they omitted that.
You only upset you got caught. The mindset that wrote it is still running the show at NSBA
If they were actually sorry, they would name and fire everyone involved, and then open up their records for inspection to verify that there was no other untoward activity going on that would undermine the status of parents and their involvement in their childrens’ educations. Anything short of that and you can bet they are just banking on people having short attention spans.
So they are claiming the problem was “procedural”?
No, the problem is political.
They are not sorry they sent the letter. They’re sorry it went public.
The new procedures will ensure that doesn’t happen again.
Once we are rounded up and put down like the dogs we are.
Apology or not, it’s how they think of parents. It must never be forgotten.
The movement must not stop. School boards need to be (lawfully) overthrown by the hundreds in the election next year
