Four Hours at the Capitol is an immersive chronicle of the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, when thousands of American citizens from across the country gathered in Washington D.C. to protest the results of the 2020 presidential election, many with the intent of disrupting the certification of Joe Biden’s presidency. The documentary film is executive produced by Dan Reed (HBO’s Leaving Neverland, Three Days of Terror: The Charlie Hebdo Attacks, Terror at the Mall) and directed by Jamie Roberts.
Tightly focused on the facts of the day itself, the documentary features never-before-seen footage and vivid first-hand accounts from lawmakers, staffers, police officers, protesters, and rioters who stormed the Capitol building where the electoral votes were being counted. The film details how the violence quickly escalated, leaving Capitol security forces outnumbered and overwhelmed, and highlights the high-stakes standoff between police and rioters. Four Hours at the Capitol presents an unfiltered look at the insurrection, standing both as an intimate recollection as well as a stark reminder of the wider ramifications of the events of that unprecedented day, which ended with the deaths of five people and more than 140 police officers injured.

...Frankly I’m tired of hearing about any of it.......Every time the press refers to January 6 it’s always as an “insurrection,”.... yet continues to downplay as “mostly peaceful protest” the 2020 riots which killed two dozen people and resulted in billions of dollars in property damage.
This HBO thing is just political propaganda.
First of all, “Insurrection?”
I do not think anyone was there to take over the government.
The claim that they were could only be made by a person who
was not mentally stable. It’s just a preposterous charge.
Now, let’s cover this.

No people were mortally injured on that day, other than
an unarmed highly respected military veteran who was not
threatening the life of anyone. She was killed in cold
blooded murder. It WAS NOT a justifiable shoot.
People did die subsequent to that day, but of those who did,
some of them took their own lives. Was it solely because of
the day’s events? I’m not convinced of that.
I believe others died of some health issues. Again, no
one was mortally wounded that day.
As for the injuries, I don’t know how they were inflicted.
Civilians could have been injured also. Were all those
injuries justifiable?
I’m sure this is a hot mess of a production.
The way they used charged words meant to influence people’s
opinion, makes it clear they have no interest in revealing
truth here. This is an attempt to make the public hate
the people who were there protesting an election being
stolen.
As reasons go, that is one of the most important ones there
can be to a healthy republic.
Who knew?

This is either ANTIFA, or folks on our side who don’t quite
grasp the reality that we can hurt our own cause by getting
carried away and gifting talking points to the other side.
If these are our guys, they were not helpful.

This is fiction. There was not an insurrection on Jan. 6. Nada. Zilch.

Yes, exactly. For sure. The lengths to which this generation’s Democrat Party is going with its complete lies and fakery are astounding.
People who came to Washington D.C. did so as a moral obligation to go on record that the American people know that the election was stolen by some very bad players. VP Pence’s decision to not do what only he could do and should have done - have the states reexamine the election results in great frustration, but not violence from this law abiding crowd.
The matching shoes are a nice touch.

I caught most of this docu last evening.
There was plenty of footage which I haven’t seen before, it was quite interesting.
There was a serious Leftist slant and the Senators or Reps interviewed were all Democrats except for on Georgia male Republican (can’t recall his name).
So the various locations and various videos taken were interesting but you need to shut out the Leftist comments.
How some of the participates avoided arrest or jail is also amazing. This one pot smoking guy that shared his weed in the rotunda, I was surprised he wasn’t in jail and felt free to speak.
I will never click that link or watch this film. It will be nothing but propaganda in the style of PRAVDA or Dr. Goebbel’s.
You never know these days.
