Bruce Lee’s son Brandon Lee was killed by a blank.
There was a squib bullet lodged in the barrel from a previous use.
The blank turned it into a real projectile.
Whoops!
He shot a woman??
Beyond the tragic nature of this accident, why in the heck is flaming liberal Alec Baldwin shooting a (prop) gun?

Why was Alec Baldwin pointing a “prop gun” at a cinematographer? How did he shoot two people? With one bullet? Did the bullet bounce? How many shots were fired. These are questions that police will investigate.
How could a prop gun be allowed to have live ammo? I would have a hard time living with this if that happened by my hand and on my set. I’m no Alec Baldwin fan but I wouldn’t wish this on him. Terrible tragedy.
I can’t blame Baldwin, as somebody is supposed to prep these guns before using them. However, somebody should be facing negligence for not prepping the guns properly.
If only Alec Baldwin were an NRA member. He could have attended a firearms safety class where they teach you to treat every firearm as if it were loaded with real live ammunition. /sarcasm
Doesn’t have to be live ammo...blanks are dangerous enough.
Back in the 1980s TV actor Jon-Erik Hexum was killed on the set of his show “Cover-Up” when he was goofing around with a prop gun he didn’t know was loaded. He put it to his head and pulled the trigger, and the blast from the blank drove bone fragments into his brain.
blanks have wadding material that at close range can kill someone if it hits them in the head
Wow the comments on the Daily Mail are brutal.
Not a fan of Baldwin’s political persona but I wouldn’t wish this tragedy on anyone.
The incident sounds like a movie plot; or a tee vee series’ episode. Seriously, the small/large screen has shown us this scenario before it ever occurred. Question is, will Alex’s anger management issues be addressed should he go to trial?
dont care if its an accident
i hope hes prosecuted
I think Blanks usually have some sort of fiber packing but you have to be really close to do damage like holding to your head. 2 people hit and one killed is unusual. A real round in the gun by mistake ?
Yes, I remember a “Hart to Hart” episode with that plot. A play’s director replaced the blanks with real bullets because he wanted to off one of the actors who had witnessed him committing a crime.
