A plurality of Britons would have preferred former Conservative Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher to have handled the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, a poll found.
YouGov asked 5,511 adults in Great Britain in a poll published on Wednesday: “Regardless of how you view them otherwise, if you had to choose one British Prime Minister from the last forty years to have handled the Covid-19 outbreak, who would it have been?”

If you watched the Crown, the portrayal of Thatcher was wretched. Shame on whomever wrote the story.

Her university degree was in chemistry, not the BS degree in PPE (Politics, Philosophy & Economics) that most British pols have these days.
Safe to say a conservative prime minister with a chemistry degree would have handled things differently.
She would probably have actually “followed the science”.

The elites hated her, not just for her politics but especially because of her class, and the way she refused to defer to U colleagues who were manifestly her inferiors in skill and courage. I loved her.

In our churches, like our country, division, a ‘sifting’ of Believers. The layoff of many in government positions is drawing many to church for the first time, while many are leaving larger, ‘lukewarm’ churches.
The ‘megachurch’ in Calgary, Centre Street Church, has lost thousands during the CCP-Coronavirus CONdemic, as it has no official position on vaccines. Meanwhile, many smaller churches are growing because they are small enough that there are relationships more easily formed in such churches.
