Multiple sheriffs in jurisdictions near Chicago said they will not respond to fill the potential gap in police manpower created by Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
Lightfoot has vowed to fire the Chicago police officers who fail to comply with the mandate she ordered, which could result in the loss of thousands of officers.

He [Sheriff Mendrick] told the Daily Herald the situation was similar to the Chicago Bears football team suspending all of its players, then turning to the Green Bay Packers and telling them they need to go out and play for them.

Let her and any remaining supporters see the consequences of her decisions.

Don't mention that to too many people. You might get labeled an "anti-vaxxer." The latest ploy is trotting out statistics about how you're 14x more likely to be hospitalized with COVID if you're not vaccinated. The problem is that they don't give you the base number. 14x1 is 14. 14x anything less than 1 isn't worth my time.
This entire discussion has become about who can flop their statistical folder the loudest on the desk. It's really getting boring.

Especially knowing if one looked at one of the left’s special people wrong the deputy would be arrested and charged with a hate crime.
The Democrats are either insane, stupid or working from a plan.

Looks like Lightfoot may be hoisted on her own petard. She either brought it on herself or knows who did.
No governmental agency every adds “or natural immunity” to a vaccine requirement order. Very interesting since natural immunity has been shown to be 13 times more effective by Israel scientists.
