NIH corrects untruthful assertions by NIH Director Collins and NIAID Director Fauci that NIH had not funded gain-of-function research in Wuhan.
NIH states that EcoHealth Alliance violated Terms and Conditions of NIH grant AI110964.
Dr. Fauci and others claimed under oath the NIH didn’t fund gain of function research in the Wuhan Lab. Now the obvious is confirmed: they did.
Ah, the old “violated the terms and conditions of the grant” ploy.
They’re trying to create plausible deniability for Fraudci.
Maybe it depends on the meaning of “is”.
There will be no consequences however.
Director Fauci is quoted and known to support "gain of function" research.
He merely directed funds to a secondary party, Eco-Health, in order to support and partially finance the Wuhan institute, and it's "gain of function" research.
Collins and Fauci are just playing "word-smith" and twisting facts.

with 700,000 alone dying in the United States from a virus
he bought and paid for.

I wouldn’t disagree with that, but it still remains true he
went out on that stage acting like Mr. Smarty Pants, when he
knew exactly where that virus came from.
He paid to have the virus created. It escaped the lab (if it
wasn’t actually released. And then he played dumb about it
all to become a widely viewed ‘expert’ on the subject.
I know it isn’t quite this bad, but where Hitler really
blew it was not doing interviews acting to be an expert
about the death camps, as if he hadn’t given the orders.
I agree with you there 100%. It's telling that this psychopathic ghoul is still the face of the governmental response when he's principally responsible for the pandemic to begin with.
If the NIH is admitting to this, there is something much worse and more direct about gain of function research that they are hiding. Note how the letter basically says they didn’t exactly follow the letter of the grant, but it is no big deal because they didn’t work with SARS2.

If the link is ever proven (and with the actual experiments done in Wuhan, the investigators probably dead, and the records destroyed, that’s unlikely), can you just IMAGINE the damage and the wreckage inside the regime?

Since Dr. Collins and Dr. Fauci funded Gain of Function research it follows they would know the antidotes to the lab created virus.
The vaccines, the vaccines, $$$$ requiring booster shots as far as the eye can see. Ivermectin and hydroxichloriquine are thus taboo.
