Judge Rejects Florida Husband's Attempt to Force Hospital to Use Ivermectin to Treat COVID

A Florida judge on Tuesday rejected the latest petition asking that a hospital be ordered to administer ivermectin to a woman extremely ill with COVID-19, The Palm Beach Post reported.

Palm Beach County Circuit Judge James Nutt, for the second time in three days, rejected the petition and asked that attorneys representing the husband of 47-year-old Tamara Drock and those for Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center try to resolve the dispute, the Post reported.

Ryan and Tamara Drock both contracted COVID-19. Although Ryan recovered — he took ivermectin — his wife has been hospitalized and is in the intensive-care unit and is receiving oxygen.

Ryan Drock wanted the judge to order the hospital to give Tamara the drug, which doctors say hasn't been found effective against COVID-19.

Absolutely stomach churning. The medical establishment around the world deserves whatever evil comes about it from this madness. I'm at a loss for words.

The judge, however, said that the petition Huxtable filed is to be used to quickly resolve disputes over the use of life-sustaining medical procedures, such as feeding tubes — it doesn't give patients the right to ask a judge to overturn a doctor's medical judgment.

"It is not a right to demand a particular treatment. It is not a right to substitute one's judgment as to which treatments must (be) made available by others," he wrote. "There is no right, constitutional or otherwise, of a patient to substitute one’s judgment for a medical professional."

Hope the Judge has underlying condition, contracts COVID and dies. I’m tired of being nice and playing nice, it gets you nothing.

Slight irony. Boynton Beach, in Palm Beach county, is home to many rich and famous people, many of whom keep their high dollar horses there.

"There is no right, constitutional or otherwise, of a patient to substitute one’s judgment for a medical professional."

So the judge is saying we have to do what ever a "medical professional" tells us to do? I don't think he got that right.

Why block the use of Ivermectin when, even if it does not help, it does no harm?

Just go to the hospital, wait until you’re alone, and give it to her.

This is what I constantly ask.

Giving these patients ivermectin and HCQ, even if they are ineffective, wood be akin to giving Tylenol or an antibiotic to treat it. It may not help, but it won’t hurt, either.

And if, just if, it did help, isn’t it worth it?

You can bring lots of meds into the hospital for yourself, a friend or family member. They charge crazy prices for a Tylenol tablet so by bringing your own you can literally save thousands.

Same goes for "naughty" drugs - just don't tell anyone. Best to make sure what you are doing dosage-wise though...

I don’t know if it’s all, but there’s still hospitals that won’t allow visitors to someone who has COVID.

Even then, the visitor has to be fully suited up.

This is monstrous. They're withholding treatment for political (or is it financial?) reasons. I've completely lost faith in doctors. All of them.

If that were my wife I’d make a list. I’m guessing most of you know what that list would be, what it would mean and what triggered action on that list.

I've instructed my husband that we can not go to the hospital....we have our horse sauce if need be and we're taking our vitamins....

no vent....

if need be, and if I'm brought to the hospital, husband will sneak in some paste for me....

I’d find away to give it to her; some how/some way — nothing would stop me. Her life is at stake and what the hospital “experts” are doing isn’t working.

I wonder if she took any before she went to the hospital?

Not sure it works late.

Doctors, with the exception of a few, have turned into complete a-holes.
