I don’t understand the mindset of some. Do they actually believe that they would allow DJT to win in 2024, after stealing it from under our noses in 2020, without any push back from the GOP? Evey day we stay wedded to this do nothing party is one day closer to the end of America.

Obama was born a Kenyan national/British subject from his foreign national father, WHEREVER he was born.
He is not a natural born citizen.

Then don’t vote for Cruz if you believe that way...Desantis is who I’ll vote for and Pompeo second, Cruz third...if they all lose to Trump...I’ll vote for Trump in the final! It’s all win win for me!

There’s a big difference in saying people should get the shot and mandating that everyone even children must be vaccinated. But you keep on your one issue Jihad.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Why do you think the Southwest pilots are not showing up for work?

That’s a serious question I would like you think about for a minute and determine your answer.

Do you happen to know why Trump thinks they are not showing up? Trump was on the Howie Carr show in Boston last week and he was asked this question. His answer: Because of election fraud.

You know why he thinks people are hesitant to get the vaccine? He said he can think of no possibility except that it’s because Biden is president. NOT A WORD about anything bad happening to people from the vaccines.

Call it a jihad but those answers frankly concern me a great deal and speak to someone out of touch or unwilling to open his mind to the possibility that anything he has done concerning the vaccines or covid was wrong (and other issues as well). And if I get attacked for saying anything here, I can only imagine that anyone close to Trump doesn’t dare tell him anything they fear will upset him. And that is dangerous.

If you don’t want to vote for Trump because of his COVID views fine. Stay home. We don’t need you.

“Call it a jihad but those answers frankly concern me a great deal and speak to someone out of touch”

I hadn’t heard those things he said. If true, he is out of touch. The answers he gave are not even close to the truth and he doesn’t get it.

I promise you he did say those things. I presume he is going to be the candidate in 2024 and I would like him to win. But in order to win I think he needs to grow in wisdom and so far I don’t see it from him. And I think it’s a disservice to not point it out in an egregious situation like this.

“in order to win I think he needs to grow in wisdom”

I think he is very wise overall. But this steal in 2020 ... I expect he’s still experiencing some PTSD from it. We (at least I) can be bothered for years over some relatively small issue of unfairness, so imagine what he’s dealing with. I can’t even ... Plus, they won’t leave him the hell alone — just keep tormenting him whenever possible.

Maybe he’ll have a come-to-Jesus moment where he can not focus on the steal and not relate everything to that. His true friends have an opportunity to help him put things into perspective.

I tend to agree. I was going to say - Am I the only one who thinks this would be a bad idea? If for no other reasons, imagine this.

1) He wins (which is not a slam dunk at all)
2) If Congress is not 100% GOP controlled, the Dems will grind things to a total HALT. At best, he’s got 18 months to get something done.
3) With the media attacking him 24/7/365 the closer we get to the midterms the harder it will be. Then, if the GOP loses one of the houses - assuming they had both to begin with, everything will STOP. He’ll be a 2 year lame duck.

Wouldn’t it be better for Trump to be instrumental in being Kingmaker? Helping to select someone he likes so the base gets behind that person. Then pick a strong VP - a new standard bearer to move the party forward since Trump would be term limited anyway?

Biden is so old and frail I doubt he’ll ever run again even if he makes it through this term.

I don’t know, that’s how I see it.

I hope that one day Marjorie Taylor Green or Lauren Boebert or Madison Cawthorn run. They are great leaders and rising stars. They are sensible, likeable and have good ideas.
