The agency said that people, even if they’ve been vaccinated, should wear masks for festive activities in public indoor spaces or if they’re spending the holidays with someone who has health risks.
“You might choose to wear a mask regardless of the level of transmission if a member of your household has a weakened immune system, is at increased risk for severe disease, or is unvaccinated,” the guidance said.

Guess what? We don’t care, CDC.
The CDC can blow it out their posterior as far as I’m concerned.
END ALL MANDATES & RESTRICTIONS. REFUSE TO COOPERATE!
FUCDC
Nor “Hammering” Hank.
FYCDC. My family is going to enjoy holidays like Thanksgiving and the Birth of Christ our Lord and Savior as if YOU did not exist.
Guidance?

Yet,
unvaccinated people were advised to stay home altogether.
You can't make this stuff up.
Whom the gods would destroy they first make mad.
I guess these people at the CDC live or work no where near FLORIDA.
I am amazed anyone listens to this nonsense.
I plan on ‘choosing’ to ignore said guidance. :)
My response to the CDC?
Let’s go, Brandon.
Unless you go to a country like India where they have ended Covid with Ivermectin.
Any “medical expert” or “medical” organization that still promotes masking as a way to control the spread of a respiratory virus has lost all credibility to dispense medical advice. They are best ignored ... completely.
Hey! I was in the market for some a$$wipe material!
The left really loves telling people not to celebrate Thanksgiving or Christmas.
Two years in a row now, and our illustrious leaders and highly-talented medical people have not been able to conquer the bug. I really don’t think that their advice is worth anything.
Cyclotic issues travel guidance for holiday season: Go where I want, when I want and with who I want.
Last year, we drove from Maryland to Orlando to see my mom, then up to Michigan to see my wife’s mom.
Somewhere in Indiana, my MIL called to tell us one of her Bingo partners, a 92 year old woman just came down with covid. She asked what we wanted to do.
“We’re going to Grandma’s” was my answer.
Guess who didn’t get covid? All of us.
Guess who survived covid? The 92 year old lady.
Get a clue, CDC, our respect for you is right alongside our respect for the local outhouse.
Good one !!
Not to mention the vaccine is about as effective as a glass of water on a forest fire and mask are about as effective as a chain link fence keeping out mosquitos.

It's a tough job, but, well, somebody's got to do it...
