Conservative talk-show host Dan Bongino is telling his syndicator: Your vaccine mandate or me. “You can’t have both.”
Prefacing his challenge with “I don’t work for anyone” and is merely a “partner with Cumulus,” Mr. Bongino challenged the radio giant on Monday’s episode of “The Dan Bongino Show” to cancel his program, vowing to “not let this go.”
“You can have me, or you can have a vaccine mandate, but you can’t have both,” Mr. Bongino said. “I grew up without a lot of money. … I’m not leaving those guys behind.”
Cumulus Media announced this summer that employees who work out of offices would be required to get the COVID-19 vaccination before returning to the office.
According to Inside Radio, multiple Cumulus employees including some show hosts who refused to get vaccinated had either been fired or quit as of last week.

A true fighter
100% support Dan.
Remember Hannity and Colmes? How about Bongino and Rivera?
The blood is already flowing in Washington state, where the governor’s vaccination mandate is terminating jobs, including the football coach at WSU. (Although for the life of me I can’t understand why the coach didn’t get an elitist exemption, like Pelosi, Newsom and Lightfoot, et al.).
Especially since I’m pretty sure he said he has already gotten the jab.
Agreed.
I am surprised at some of the people on this forum who have an exceedingly low opinion of him.
I even saw someone on a thread yesterday discussing this issue with Bongino, and characterized him as someone whose only qualifier of significance is that his prior job was to step in front of the President and take a bullet.
Sure.
That was one of his jobs, but in an exercise of Reductio ad absurdum, he made this accomplished, dedicated, and patriotic man no more than a mindless meat-headed thug who would step in front of a Mafia Don.
Bongino isn’t perfect, and he certainly engages in the “tell them what you’re going to tell them, tell them, and explain to them what you just told them” routine which can get tedious, but I understand why he does that, and when he was explaining the whole spying scandal, I very much appreciated it.
But there is no doubting his patriotism, love of country, and drive to live up to the founding principles as well as his own. To me, it is clear that money isn’t the driving factor.
I find that kind of denigration of someone like Dan Bongino to be disagreeable and off-putting.
“Remember Hannity and Colmes? How about Bongino and Rivera?”
Bongino doesn’t need the albatross...
Bongino and Geraldo Rivera? No. They are too much alike in their approach.
Both want to be Alpha Dogs most the time. The arguments would be entertaining, though.
Two horned Rams running at each other.
Courage and integrity. It is nice to see.
“How about Bongino and Rivera?”
Have you ever seen those two debate on Fox? I stopped watching almost a year ago, but when they were on a panel together (usually Judge Jeanine, IIRC) I was glad they were virtual and not on set together. Jerry Rivers would say something completely asenine and if Bongino had been there I think he’d have mutilated Geraldo.
“I’m pretty sure he said he has already gotten the jab.”
I think I heard him say that, too.
It must be suspected he voted for Trump.
Good for Bongino and call me cynical, but I suspect his ratings are in the dumper and this is all preemptive. Nobody, absolutely nobody, can replace Rush.
In a country that has real liberty, people would be free to choose take a vaccination or refuse it, or take off-label drugs as prophylactics if they choose to do so, with no consequences.
Or wear a mask or not.
Never mind that someone like Dan Bongino who has recently undergone cancer treatment might have an actual medical reason for taking these vaccinations (whether they really are vaccines and effective or not is not relevant-it is all about being able to make a individual choice that is best for that person)
What Bongino stands up for is the concept that forcing someone against their will to submit to an invasive medical procedure of ANY kind is unconstitutional, and the concept that the government is allowed to do force this on citizens must be fought against.
You may not like Dan Bongino for whatever reason, you think he is too pedantic, or a fake just there to make money, or whatever, but surely you agree with Bongino that this must be fought, don’t you?
Bongino still owes that idiot Rivera a bop in the nose. The sooner the better I say.
See my post above at #15. I don’t think that has any bearing on this whatsoever.
And Bongino is SO across-the-board smart, from minutiae of ancient history to current pop culture. In a second’s time he can relate situations to things stored in his mind’s hard drive.
What do you think of Bill Barr? I think Bill Barr is as deep of deep State as you get. Bongino told the story one day where in my opinion he was trying to rehabilitate the image of Bill Barr. He said that Barr exposed secrets from Hunter Biden’s laptop so China wouldn’t be able to Blackmail the administration with them. Why didn’t Bongino go after Barr for not Prosecuting Hunter Biden and exposing the Biden cabal before the election? I no longer trust Bongino.
Rush was great. He was a man for his time.
Bongino is the direct, fearless voice we need now.
