Why I’m Betting Biden Goes the 4-Year Distance

Barring infirmity, Joe Biden is likely to serve out his four-year term. For political reasons, despite the manifest failure of his presidency and his party’s terror of what lies ahead, he has a winning hand.

Sure, the country is in one heckuva pickle right now. Everyone will agree to that. There is not one single aspect of daily life in America that is better under “President” Biden than it was under President Trump. In every meaningful, measurable, tangible way, the quality of life in this country has deteriorated precipitously.

Consider:

Inflation is out of control, we’ve gone from energy independent to begging OPEC for oil, crime is running rampant, the country is up in arms over the arbitrary un-Constitutional mask and vaccine mandates, the Afghanistan exit was a tragic debacle (and Americans are still trapped there, in spite of the liberal media trying to cover that up), illegal immigration is actually being welcomed by the administration in order to change the country’s voting demographics and scores of container ships are unable to offload in California, so store shelves are becoming empty.

The perspective can be reversed, and the question could be asked, “What about daily life is better under the Democrats’ leadership? The answer of course, is nothing, except that liberals now enjoy the absence of straight-talking, humiliating-to-progressives “mean tweets.” With Biden in office, Jim Acosta doesn’t get embarrassed every day by President Trump and Kayleigh McEnany. That’s about the best that Progressives can say for the current administration.

The infirmities are there, just the highly protective media is not talking about what they are and how seriously they affect his performance. The first time he goes into a drooling fit on camera or slumps to the ground, the media is going to have a LOT of ‘splaining to do, Lucy.

The words salads can be sort of covered over, by interruptions to the audio, or careful editing.

Let’s Go Brandon.

it gives them bragging rights about being the party that has the first woman president.

Brag about how "the first woman president" got there by sleeping her way to the top and then taking the boss's job from him.

The Dems have the three letter agencies and the fake news.

What lies ahead under the Deep State is the Venezuela model

I think they could pull it off for four years ONLY if they totally muzzle him. With his brain shriveling up, he may become not-so-good at lying. Their worst fear is that he’ll say something true about Covid, vaccines hoax, etc., on a way that can’t be fixed.

This is stupid. Biden is deteriorating by the week. There is no way in hell he makes it for another 3+ years. You simply can not do a multi-year POTUS “Weekend at Bernie’s” scenario. Not happening.

Democrats can’t help but to destroy everything they touch. They may never recover after their Biden Hoax.

If one goes back to 2018 and watches clips of him doing speeches...he’s typical 1990s-Joe (who makes misquotes and tells a 30-year old joke or two).

Right around November 2019 to early January 2020, Joe goes off on vacation (you don’t see much of anything). Once he comes back in early Jan 2020...he’s version 2.0 of Joe, and showing five to ten problems in a 20-minute speech. I originally thought it was new medication. My take now is that he had a stroke in that holiday period, and his mental state declined by 30-percent in a matter of days.

If you measure from mid-summer 2020 to this point....it’s a fairly big step down in alertness and competence. Is he on some type of alert-medication or ‘upper’ for these speech occasions? Yes, without any doubt.

How long can he survive like this? I’d say by the end of 2022...he won’t be able to make public appearances or visit any foreign dignitaries. They might survive with Joe until the summer of 2023, but with a full-up Republican House/Senate....I think he’s just a house-guest of the White House and the ‘team’ runs the country.

Historians will talk about this for decades, on how this was allowed to happen and the news media did next to nothing.

“ but there is an undeniable undercurrent of thought that Biden must be propped up—Weekend at Bernie’s style….”

He’ll make it unless he drops dead on live video. The Dems like having a drooling idiot there because there’s nobody for the opposition to focus on, since Biden is so clearly not in charge of anything and probably can’t even tie his own shoes most days. They can do whatever they want behind the scenes because as long as he’s there, nobody even knows who they are.

And of course because they are really worried about the prospect of having Harris step into the job. Biden gets a pass because everybody knows he’s senile and non compos mentís; Harris is just plain nasty, and she’s not going to get any passes from anybody. Even the Dems don’t like her.

I agree. And the irony is that a similar situation was experienced with Woodrow Wilson. And we "learned from that". We later passed the 25th Amendment. It was wrong for Wilson's wife to run the government. We wouldn't let that happen again.

And yet, here we are.

The news media was in on this. They are the power in the country.

Biden was dragged into office by the Mediacracy.

The thought of Awful Kamala being POTUS is horrifying.

A less likable version of Hillary Clinton.

Before anybody wishes Mr. Biden to resign / be 25th Amendment’ed and be taken off to Sunset Retirement Home (in the special “Memory Care” section), please consider that little point.

If it is to be, please let it be sometime after January 3rd, 2023 (when the Demonrats are hopefully extricated, and hopefully by a wide, wide margin from control of the Legislative Branch).

Wilson, FDR, Biden... If you are a Democrat, the Mediacracy protects you.

If might be more correct to say the Progressives. The Media was always a strong part of the Progressive movement.

Correct: Throw in the medical history that we can’t ‘see’... his aneurysms. He could simply ‘not wake up’ one morning, or dramatically collapse in front of the TV cameras. This is how men his age ‘go’.

That assumes the voter base is largely still a thinking lot. Demographics are shifting quickly in favor to Democrats for voters who will keep voting Democrat no matter how destructive and disastrous things are up to and including their own dstruction.

Cognative dissonance is now terminal
