She sure did have us worried, the little stinker. She does come at rather odd times, and I just get lucky when I catch her. Both times today she was their waiting on the front porch with Li’l Bit.
Indeed...fall is wonderful and it helps if we can eeease into winter, not be thrown into it. LOL! hang around 70s! And farmers, get done with all that harvest dust you’re stirring up!
It’s possible she was home all along and you just didn’t see her when she showed up to eat. Cats can be contrary lil critters at times. :-)
It sure does help to ease into winter! It seems that lately, we haven’t had much autumn at all. One day it’s summer, then BAM! It’s frigid. We’ll see what happens this year and hope for the best.
You mentioned harvesting. I just stepped outside a few minutes ago and I swear I heard a combine in the fields next to us to the east. It’s 3:00 in the morning and a little foggy. I don’t know who bought all that acreage this year but I hope he has silos with stout dryers for that wet corn!
