Amid rising conflict between the United States and Turkey, the latter has announced to purchase Russia's Su-35 and Su-57 fighters 'if the United States freezes the sale of F-16 fighter jets', news agency Sputnik reported on Monday.
According to the news agency, Turkish Presidency of Defence Industries, chief Ismail Demir, during an interview with Kanal 7 broadcaster, said that the country would always maintain an option and would probably use it if the US government freezes the sale of F-16 fighter jets. Further, the minister said that the country would go beyond its limit if there would be any threat related to security.

They’ll bribe a few Congressmen and bureaucrats and all will be well in the garden.
F16’s are the 57 Chevy’s of the fighter world. Make’em and Sell’em. Keep cranking them out, everybody want’s some.
Time for Kurdistan.
Turkey’s a tough nut right now.
Their leaders is an ass.
If we back off on our dealings with them, they turn to
Russia or China.
Not good.
We’ll be seeing a lot more of these types of situations
thanks to our political leaders in the U. S.
Not so much any more on the 57s... their prices are dropping on the market for lack of buyers.
