I have a family member (now retired) who was involved in aircraft maintenance at MCAS Miramar in San Diego, and he has told us firsthand that - after Trump took office - parts and supplies that had be long-delayed under Obama suddenly started arriving, allowing them to finally do critical maintenance work. So now, Colin (The Sacred Cowell) Powell dies, and we are told by all the talking suckups how much he loved America, how much he loved the military, how much he loved our servicemen and women. So why did he endorse a resident (Obama)who did everything he could to diminish our military? Why did he endorse a moron (Biden) who recreated the nightmare of Vietnam with a shameful desertion from Afghanistan? And why did he hate Trump, who started no wars and rebuilt the military after Obama’s destruction? Talk is cheap, and they all SAY they honor our military, but Trump’s actions actually SHOWED his respect. Perhaps on his deathbed, Powell realized that he was just another sold-out swamp creature, protecting the ruling class. Eff him.
You should write the CDC and tell them to immediately stop the PSAs telling people that the vaccinations “keep us safe”.
They need to have lengthy messages explaining that the vaccine will not “protect you” in case of co-morbidities—and then list them!

Bogus news. Almost nobody dies from covid. It is just another flu. Powell more likely died from cancer. Now there is a killer disease...cancer. Nobody gets “cured”. They only go into “remission” for a period, and then the cancer comes back.
Cancer happens when body loses ability to recognize abnormal cells and kill them. Unless the cancer is very superficial such as a mole on skin which can be excised thoroughly, cancer keeps coming back.

I think cancer zaps you when you’re at a low point, after a major stress event (a period of emotional abuse, child’s illness, etc.) compromises your immune system. The “fighting” cells just aren’t strong enough to tackle the cancer. (Expect that cancer cells are in us more than we know, but the immune system usually is efficient enough.)
Sometimes it comes back; sometimes it doesn’t. I’m always aware that it could revisit me.
