Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) said he will not vote for former President Trump if he wages a bid for the presidency in 2024.
Cassidy, during an interview with “Axios on HBO” that aired on Sunday, also doubled-down on his prediction that Trump will not be the GOP nominee if he decides to run again in the next cycle.
The Republican senator told Axios’ Mike Allen “I don’t know that” when discussing the likelihood that Trump will win the GOP nomination in 2024 if he launches a third campaign for the White House.
“President Trump is the first president, in the Republican side at least, to lose the House, the Senate and the presidency in four years. Elections are about winning,” Cassidy said.
When pressed on whether Trump could lose the nomination in 2024, Cassidy said “if you want to win the presidency, and hopefully that's what voters are thinking about, I think he might.”
“But it's clear you ain't voting for him,” Allen said to Cassidy.
“I’m not,” the Republican senator responded.

He knows this is his last term in the Senate. The mask slipped only when he knew he wouldn’t have to face the voters again.
Agree. I recall the great ladies on both sides of my family. All the ladies told me if had nothing good to say- “don’t say anything.”
Louisiana had one of the biggest percentages of the populace voting for Trump. I don’t think his anti-endorsement will matter down there.

Cassidy is one of 5 or 6 republicans that are right in the middle of the voter fraud machine in the Senate. He is a benefactor and he is dirty. He knows it and he is hoping not to go to jail eventually for his knowledge and complicity.
It that simple now for him and the rest that voted to impeach Trump.

His statement on election fraud only serves to demonstrate the contempt Washington DC has for us.
Our votes were stolen in 2020. And let me be crystal clear. This wasn’t about Donald J. Trump. Our cherished, One Man One Vote, was stolen from us, we the people, in a blatant manner on a massive scale. And we are supposed to just simply “ACCEPT” that it didn’t happen and look the other way because these politicians perpetuate a lie?
