‘Recipe for disaster’: Arkansas governor says Trump’s voter fraud allegations could hurt GOP in 2022

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson argued on Sunday that former President Donald Trump’s allegations of voter fraud during the 2020 election could spell disaster for Republicans in the upcoming midterms.

Mr. Hutchinson, who has not ruled out a run for the GOP nomination in 2024, made the comments during an appearance on MSNBC’s “Meet the Press.”

“Re-litigating 2020 is a recipe for disaster in 2022,” he said. “The election is passed, it’s been certified, the states have made decisions on the integrity of each of their elections and made improvements where need be.”

Mr. Hutchinson urged Republicans to focus on the present and the future when attempting to woo voters. The governor, in particular, argued that Mr. Trump’s claims of widespread electoral fraud were not “constructive” to the GOP’s ambitions of retaking Congress.

“We can win in 2022, we’re going to,” said Mr. Hutchinson. “But let’s focus on the important issues of our supply chain, of getting over this pandemic, about freedom and not the last election.”

Not any where near as much as actual vote fraud will hurt the GOP in 2022!!!

A few very compliant RINOS might survive, but otherwise expect a clean sweep.

Those of us who are activists should ask Republican candidates two questions during next year’s primaries. (1) Do you think the Democrats stole the 2024 election? (2) What do you think of the January 6 Capitol protests? The answers will separate MAGA candidates from RINO trash like oil and water.

By default, anybody who believes the 2020 election was “the most honest ever” thinks the People actually *want* black supremacy, “climate justice,” lockdowns, muzzle mandates, open borders, tax hikes, vaccine mandates, and socialism across the board. Because Xiden *promised* all of the above during the campaign. Xiden’s poll numbers wouldn’t be in the toilet if they really *had* “voted for” him and all the aforementioned crap he promised.

Any Bu$h league RINO who says January 6 was “worse than 9/11” is a callous elitist. 3,000 innocent people getting burned and crushed to death doesn’t really bother such a pompous bastard. But “mere commoners” daring to set foot in the “rulers” house *does* bother a Bu$h. Such “royalty” should be expelled from the Republican Party!

Mr. Hutchinson urged Republicans to focus on the present and the future when attempting to woo voters. …

“In bourgeois society… the past dominates the present; in communist society, the present dominates the past.”

— Communist Manifesto, chapter 2

“… Do you realize that the past, starting from yesterday, has been actually abolished? If it survives anywhere, it’s in a few solid objects with no words attached to them, like that lump of glass there. Already we know almost literally nothing about the Revolution and the years before the Revolution. Every record has been destroyed or falsified; every book has been rewritten; every picture has been repainted; every statue and street and building has been renamed; every date has been altered. And that process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right. I know, of course, that the past is falsified, but it would never be possible for me to prove it, even when I did the falsification myself. After the thing is done, no evidence ever remains. The only evidence is inside my own mind, and I don’t know with any certainty that any other human being shares my memories. Just in that one instance, in my whole life, I did possess actual concrete evidence after the event — years after it.”

— Winston Smith, “1984”, part II section V
Yes, we know exactly what you are talking about, Asa.

Any Republican who denies the evidence of fraud…is political dogmeat.
Asa and politicians like him…are why I am not a Republican.

Well of course it will.

Fraudulent elections have now been adopted in the U. S. with
the full approval of Democrats, Republicans, the Election
commission, the U. S. House and Senate, and the nation’s
courts.

How would that help Republicans.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, NeverTrump Republicans are
urging all Republicans to vote for Democrats.

LOL

Asa, you’re a real brain trust aren’t you.

His foot dragging on the origin of coronavirus. His wanting to assassinate Assange or just raid the embassy as he ultimately did to snatch him. He’s just another intel community turd.

We have a dedicated cadre of GOP fluffers here that will say anything to get us to keep voting for Assistant Democrats.

No. It won’t change 2020, but it will encourage GOP State Houses to change voting rules going into 2022 and 2024.
No more mass mail out ballots for starters.

But it’s yet another bit of proof of who and how many folks were not acting in the best interests of the country or the President.

Pompeo talked a decent game, considering who he came after, but at the end of the day he’s turning out to be another arrogant DC creature.

“I think Hutchinson is on to something...”

I doubt this seeing as the latest is that OVER half the country now believes there was Dem cheating in the 2020 election. This number is growing as the investigations continue. Just because the msm doesn’t report what is happening doesn’t mean the news is not getting out.

Beside when was the last time a Conservative appeared on MSNBC...?

I certainly hope so.

The sooner the GOP disappears, the better for the nation.
