LMAO, they sent a letter, yeah, I’m sure the State Dept is shaking in their shoes
Lemme guess, these “Americans” worship mohammed, get public assistance, and spend half the year in Afghanistan.
WOW. The GOP is silly. How many weeks ago did we leave Afghanistan?
Exactly. How tough these pubbies are. Any chance they might go overboard and actually sponsor a bill or something radical like that?
Someone has to make a new flag and fly if below thre pOW`MIA flag.
Something of the “Abandoned retreat, SOS” sorta flag. Maybe all the words in French. “Let’s Go Brandon.”
Oh goody. Another sternly worded letter.
There has to be a line that will not be crossed. I don’t recognize my country.
You'd think Freepers would appreciate the tactic and support it by creating a megaphone effect rather than trying to shut it down and demoralize the man in the arena.

More Afghans, that’s just what we need.
I do not support the removal of one more member of an incompatible race of people from their homes into the United States. Not one.
I'm sorry we put them in the position they find themselves, that was the result of a misjudgement made by a fool surrounded by traitors twenty years ago.
I'm sorry we had no plan to win the war, and therefore lost it.
But however sorry I am, that's not an argument for increased Afghan immigration to the United States.
Who are these Americans still trapped in Afghanistan and what were they doing there?
Good points about Afghans.
A sternly worded letter is not a "weapon", it's nothing more than a spit wad.
Biden doesn't seem to have a plan to do it, what is the Republican plan?
A public pressure campaign. Embarrass the Democrats. Arouse a public outcry. An example:
At the ACLJ, we’ve launched one of the largest legal advocacy efforts to defend dying Christians from genocide and death. We’re directly engaging with world leaders, on Capitol Hill, with legal demand letters to persecuting nations, and through written submissions and oral interventions at the U.N. We’re mobilizing our international offices in the most expansive campaign for the persecuted Church we’ve ever undertaken. ACLJ Delivers CRITICAL Oral Intervention Asking U.N. To Defend Endangered Christians in Afghanistan
When Republicans don't have control of the legislative or executive branches, they have to wage this type of public pressure campaign. The one I posted about is a similar effort:
"A group of House Republicans sent a letter Tuesday to the U.S. Department of State and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) demanding they expedite the evacuation of all remaining Americans and Afghan allies stuck in Afghanistan."
The Democrats do it very effectively when they are out of power. Republicans and "conservatives," could support these efforts by giving them publicity, especially now that the internet gives average Joe power to reach an audience. However, many Republicans and "conservatives" carp and criticize their own. They don't understand the tactic, or they don't want to win, or they are deep-cover saboteurs.
"The pen is mightier than the sword."
Do you think you can do better by going up onto Capitol Hill with your BAR?
