The EPA head shows who's really in charge in America

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael Regan says he's willing to wield broad regulatory power to enact President Biden's climate agenda if Congress fails to pass meaningful climate legislation.

Think about that: the Constitution is quite clear about who, in the federal government, has sole legislative power. Here it is, in Section 1 of Article I:

All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.

There's nothing ambiguous about that language. Yet Michael Regan, a man no American elected, who's spent his entire life as a government functionary without a single experience in the private sector, has announced to Congress that he plans to usurp that institution's unique power.

And Regan's not talking about massaging some rules around the edges. Oh, no. He wants the whole enchilada, including a lot of taxpayer money and rules that will profoundly damage America's middle class:

By his threats to take over the powers of the Legislative Branch of government, Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael Regan is conspiring to overthrow the Constitution of the United States of America. That is sedition.

The Dems continue to show themselves for what they are, communists. The ends justifies the means. The constitution and rule of law or irrelevant.

The media cheers, and for the most part, the public isn’t interested.

More tyranny of government ... what a surprise.

When Trump assumes his rightful Presidency he needs to terminate everyone he could during his first 30 days. Not doing this was his biggest mistake in my opinion.

Congress used to jealously guard its powers, and rightly so. But now they outsource much of that power. Legislation is passed giving bureaucrats the power to regulate. Then the bureaucrats regulate any damn way they please. No further authorization is necessary.

The most outrageous example of Congress’s outsourcing is their outsourcing of war powers. No need to vote on a declaration of war any more. Just pass a resolution allowing the president to attack other countries whenever he feels like it (yes, George W. Bush, I’m talking about you).

Treating them like business people didn’t help. Their only business is enriching themselves at tax payers expense.

I'm too old; too weak; too tired to even pick up the ball. Someone else has to do the heavy lifting now. However, I'm fine with being a whiny pissy keyboard commando.
Just waiting out my days with my lovely Wife and cute doggie. Oh, and my electronic drums. Drumsticks don't weigh much :)
