U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth is holding D.C. Jail Warden Wanda Patten and D.C. Department of Correction Director Quincy Booth in contempt of court, accusing them of ‘inexcusable’ delays in providing medical treatment to prisoner Chris Worrell, who is accused of partaking in the January 6 Capitol Hill riot.
‘American Greatness’ writer Julie Kelly live-tweeted the hearing and the resulting action by the judge.
“Judge Lamberth just found the DC Jail Warden and DC DOC Director in contempt of court for refusing to turn over requested documents related to care for cancer-stricken J6 detainee,” she wrote. “Says civil rights are being violated at the jail, will refer to Attorney General office. FINALLY!!”

Why aren’t the torturers in prison?
Do you have a source for that? I'm not doubting you, I just want more information. I see that he has handled at least two of the Jan. 6 cases.
And our supreme court nominee AG will jump right on the job of ensuring justice is served.
I can’t imagine what thus guy is going thru. He’s really ill and in pain with lymphoma and a broken hand.
From the article.
““Hearing for Chris Worrell, arrested in March and detained since for offenses related to January 6,” Kelly wrote. “He’s been in DC Gulag for months; Worrell has non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and has not received proper treatment. Judge Lamberth, who denied bond for Worrell earlier this month ordered jail officials to provide medical records on Worrell. They did not comply in time.””
More proof that cops of all types are the enemy.
“Are they in jail?”
Perhaps if any one of the five Member of Congress who were told to they were trespassing and to get out of that facility several weeks ago would have called the Federal Marshals down and had them arrested for impeding a Congressional Investigation they may have been. It’s a felony.
No mas.
I wish there was a journalist who would keep us up to date with the saga of the political prisoners. Julie Kelly, who writes for American Greatness and others, seems to have selected herself for that role, but she is simply a bad reporter. Forget "who what when where why" -- she wants to report on how people feel. She's better than nothing, but that's it.
We have political prisoners in this country. Where is Amnesty International?
Yep. IIRC many got charged with trespassing or similar and are still in jail, when some kid shot up a school and was out the next day.
I got a remedy for these Ass holes.. Put them in their prison!!!
I hate to say that our traditional support for “law enforcement” increasingly appears to have been misplaced as they consistently stand idly by while the Leftist tyrants prosecute their campaign of evil against good people. And I don’t want to hear any protests of “I was just doing my job” or “…doing what I was ordered.” That’s no better than the excuses offered up by Nazi concentration camp guards.
Had I been a cop at any of the numerous peaceful conservative events last year in which violent, organized mobs of Leftists gleefully set upon the families, grandparents, and children and brutalized them, I don’t give a sh#t what I had been ordered, I would have grabbed the nearest Antifa or BLM maggot and beat the ever loving crap out of them.
I couldn’t have lived with myself if I had done any less. Apparently, lots of todays cops are just fine with standing idly by while evil prevails, just so long as they don’t lose a paycheck. Despicable.
It’s time to choose sides….for everyone.
the Capitol ... at the destruction of that building by the British, on the capture of Washington, 24th August, 1814”. He later gave it to his elder brother Sir James Cockburn, the Governor of Bermuda. The book was eventually returned to the Library of Congress in 1940.[24]
The British intended to burn the building to the ground. They set fire to the southern wing first. The flames grew so quickly that the British were prevented from collecting enough wood to burn the stone walls completely. However, the Library of Congress’s contents in the northern wing contributed to the flames on that side.[25] Among the items destroyed was the 3,000-volume collection of the Library of Congress[26] and the intricate decorations of the neoclassical columns

I know what you mean, but if he’s a good guy, he wouldn’t keep a guy with lymphoma in solitary for almost a year. The 6th wasn’t THAT serious and he is feeding the “insurrection” narrative.
And by doing so, probably creating an actual one.
No excuses for this swamper. He needs to release this man to be treated. And sending a contempt referral to Merrick Garland? Please.
If he doesn’t sign arrest warrants for those two, he’s worthless. Reagan or not.
Refer to AG……right, snicker snicker,……
Fantastic!
Yea sarcasm.. I said “trespassing event” what you and other people are describing are terroristic events..Jan 6th is nothing more than trespassing and unlawful parading.
How exactly?
