More than 500 pages of internal documents from DC Metropolitan Police concerning the fatal shooting of Ashli Babbitt in the Capitol on Jan. 6 reveal witness accounts stating she was not holding a weapon at the time of her death and how "upset" the officer was after shooting her.
"These previously secret records show there was no good reason to shoot and kill Ashli Babbitt," stated Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, which obtained the documents through a May 2021 FOIA lawsuit. "The Biden-Garland Justice Department and the Pelosi Congress have much to answer for the over the mishandling and cover-up of this scandalous killing of an American citizen by the U.S. Capitol Police.
Babbitt, an Air Force veteran, was shot and killed during the storming of the Capitol by a bullet fired by Capitol Police officer Lt. Michael Byrd. The documents from the DC Metropolitan Police department show that witnesses did not see Babbitt holding a weapon prior to her being shot, and reveal conflicting accounts of whether Byrd verbally warned Babbitt before shooting her.

Anyone who watches the videos can see there was no good reason to shoot her.
Except that Nancy Pelosi needed a death to have a “deadly insurrection”.
She had to die so they could use the term “Deadly insurrection on the capital”. So they could create an impression that the protesters were killing people (as opposed to being killed).

Pretty sure the Republicans supported the shooing and praised the Shooter as he received awards.
They all have a voice, and no one supported outing the guy, or questioning the shooting.

It’s a 5lb pull. Don’t take much. He shot because he wanted to. That was not a Negligent Discharge. Which, if he used that excuse, he’d be more successful in a trial, sadly.
And there’s probably a really good chance that the guys in DC Metropolitan PD could have/would have come up with that determination had they been pressed. Instead, they were brought in as an “impartial 3rd party” to conduct an “unbiased” investigation. I’m betting they did exactly that. And it wasn’t looking good for Capitol PD.
So, my speculation is....Police Chief is getting updates on the case and the investigation. Chief is reporting to the Mayor. Mayor is reporting to Pelosi or someone in her office. Things ain’t looking good so Pelosi and the Capitol PD come swooping in and grab everything. DC Police Detectives are told to STFU. Or else.
Unless it was staged — that would be a good reason.

And I know that for a fact because after it happened, he was physically emotionally distraught, and I actually hugged him. I said, Sir, you did what you had to do, and I mean that unfortunately .. ah.. the young lady.. ah… her family’s life has changed and it is an unfortunate situation .. that.. that.. she lost her life.. and.. and .. people lost their loved one.
And to think this clown is an elected member of the House of Representatives from Oklahoma. Rich boy from the neighborhood got sent to DC.
The video I saw was of a woman standing straight up with cops all around her who were not paying any attention to her. Then BLAM!................she was shot dead. She WAS NOT crawling in a window at the moment of the shot. This cop needs to go to prison for a longgggggggggg time!
So a not very large or muscular unarmed woman, with her back to the officer “had to” be shot in the back and a police review said “the officer in the situation had no other choice.”
Maybe he feared with increasingly intense anxiety building into a surge within him that this woman would turn suddenly, grab a large automatic weapon from somewhere and drill him full of holes.
Or, maybe she wouldn’t.
So he killed her.
Who knows?
I guess since you know that, you must have been right there, standing next to her, so maybe you can tell us more about what happened.

Unless you were there next to the Lieutenant or in the hallway, within a few yards, there’s no way of definitively knowing or saying what happened, who was aiming at what, or anything else.
She was murdered. Any other cop would have been indicted by now if the protesters were protesting a Democrat, blah blah blah.
The Royalty in DC will not go down for any of this. The Royalty in DC will not toss this guy under the bus because he did their job, for them, that day. And yet, damn near all of them will be re-elected to continue this theater.

Why was he justified in shooting an unarmed woman when armed SWAT teams members could have pulled her backwards out of the window?
