Former Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and Kashyap Patel, a former Defense Department official, are “engaging” with the Jan. 6 select committee, but Stephen Bannon, a former Trump adviser, is not complying with requests for documents and testimony, a move that may result in the panel sending a criminal contempt of Congress referral to the Department of Justice.
Dan Scavino, the former White House deputy chief of staff for communications, was not mentioned in the committee’s statement Friday, which comes the day after an Oct. 7 deadline for the four Trump allies to produce records.
All four were included in the first round of subpoenas sent by the committee in September. Bannon and Patel are directed to testify at depositions on Oct. 14, while Scavino and Meadows are instructed to be deposed on Oct. 15.
Bannon, the committee says, has indicated he could invoke executive privilege relating to former President Donald Trump.
“While Mr. Meadows and Mr. Patel are, so far, engaging with the Select Committee, Mr. Bannon has indicated that he will try to hide behind vague references to privileges of the former President,” a joint statement from Chairman Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., and Vice Chair Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., said. “The Select Committee fully expects all of these witnesses to comply with our demands for both documents and deposition testimony.”

Bannon is not in the mood to cooperate with the cheating enemy. If you watch his show... he’s been livid with that side ... and he will probably fight it to the end result in his favor.
What bothers him the most is for that side... who are guilty of more than can be listed.. to come after someone from Trump’s people.
He has vowed to take them down...
I wouldn’t put it past them to arrest Bannon and toss him into solitary like they did so many others. There is no rule of law now.

Well, I have no special skills, but even I know where Bannon is three hours a day five-six days a week. It isn’t that hard.
Bannon “hides” every weekday for 3 hours proclaiming a stolen election in favor of the CCP.

I hope people are waking up. If you watch any of Mark Dice’s man on the street videos, you will think this country is doomed by the stupidity and ignorance of the average guy.
By the left singling Bannon out, it tells us he is making headway. He says every day.. we are not giving up.. we are not quitting... we are going to get our Trump reinstated.
I’ve never seen such a hatred for one man... Trump. Both sides don’t give a flip he succeeded and biden is destroying..they just blindly hate our elected President!

If I were Bannon, I’d comply. Then, when he’s before the committee for questioning, plead the 5th, then get up and walk out of the room.
Or, better yet, answer every question with “I do not recall!” Play their game.
If contempt of Congress is the charge then I guess I’m guilty, too.
