He said he was a computer science student, he did not ay he used VPN’s back then. That doesn’t mean he cannot UNDERSTAND the concept and update his computer science knowledge to keep up with technology long after he graduated. If he can master the science of mRNA, learning about VPN’s should be a breeze.

Well, I understand about C#.NET, SQL, Informatia and other publish/subscribe buses, APM and Dynatrace, splunk, and NoSQL DB's..... and I was a comp sci degree back in 1980, too.

You are being smart by half. Malone said he was originally in computer science, and said not a word about VPNs and ethernet. He merely said he understands modern computers.
