AFP) — New Zealand announced Monday a sweeping “no jab, no job” policy for most healthcare workers and teachers to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
“We can’t leave anything to chance so that’s why we are making it mandatory,” said Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins, who is also the education minister.

The teachers and the teachers unions usually vote for hard core leftist regimes like we have in New Zealand and in America right now.
You vote for crazy regimes don’t complain if they govern in a crazy manner.

This might work well in Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington. Rest of the country, especially in highly rural areas....there won’t be any teacher/health worker replacement situation possible.
They need a PM just for Auckland/Christchurch/Wellington alone, and a second PM for the remainder of NZ (the real world).

Fine. YOU fooking teach the kids and YOU fooking treat the sick and injured.
When you are willing to let us do our jobs, we might consider coming back.
Have a fooking nice fooking day.

Unfortunately the response will be more like “Thank you Sir, May I have another”

Yeah. It’s pretty hard to walk away from a job. I’ve done it, but the conditions were horrible, and I had alternatives.

Doesn’t anyone research anything before making bad decisions? Some normal people do.
Politicians and rulers? Almost never, and even then they don't research honest sources, but only the ones that tell them to do what they already have decided to do to us.

That’ll teach them to re-elect Vampirella.

Requirements for workers but no requirements for those who do not work but rely on welfare/entitlements?

That’s the sheer stupidity of it.

I just read “The Law” by Frederick Bastiat written in 1850. It scared me when I realized the western world (USA, New Zealand, Australia, UK) has been full blown socialist since at least the 1930s. Today is merely the final oppressive implementation…

Yeah. It’s pretty hard to walk away from a job. I’ve done it, but the conditions were horrible, and I had alternatives.Me too, a few times, except for the part about having alternatives. I just left assuming some other source of income would turn up. And it always did.
But one thing I learned to do fairly early in life was to avoid debt and to save up enough money to put some distance between my back and the wall.

Kinda like king Ahab listening to ‘prophets’ that told him what he wanted to hear, and throwing the real prophet in prison.

New Zealand announced Monday a sweeping “no jab, no job” policy for most healthcare workers and teachers to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Too bad the jab doesn't actually "prevent the spread of Covid-19"
