I grew up near there. Once the DC beltway couldn’t handle the population, the Rats overflowed to WVa. Its been downhill since. Haven’t been back since my fathers funeral. But considering the type of people there, I am NOT surprised but thought it would be a local. and the Big Guy probably got his cut too( as a campaign contribution)

The towels on their foreheads conceal the electrical burns from being given the Chair.

Wiki :
“Nebraska introduced a new electrocution protocol in 2004, which called for the administration of a 15-second application of current at 2,450 volts; after a 15-minute wait, an official then checks for signs of life.

“In April 2007, new concerns raised regarding the 2004 protocol resulted in the ushering in of the current Nebraska protocol, calling for a 20-second application of current at 2,450 volts.

“Prior to the 2004 protocol change, an initial eight-second application of current at 2,450 volts was administered, followed by a one-second pause, then a 22-second application at 480 volts. After a 20-second break, the cycle was repeated three more times.”

One execution took 15 minutes

Aldrich Ames, Robert Hanssen, Eddy Snowden all got away with it and lived - the later even managed to skip prison time after fleeing to China.

Someone seems to be scrubbing sites, but https://www.facebook.com/diana.toebbe still has some footprints, including as an Upper School Teacher, The Key School, Annapolis (a self-described “progressive” school).

He worked for Naval Reactors. If you’ve ever had anything to do with the nuclear navy, you know what they do.

“Naval Reactors (NR), also known as the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program,[1] is an umbrella term for the U.S. government office that has comprehensive responsibility for the safe and reliable operation of the United States Navy’s nuclear propulsion program. A single entity, it has authority and reporting responsibilities within both the United States Department of the Navy (Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, OPNAV, and the Naval Sea Systems Command, NAVSEA) and the United States Department of Energy in its National Nuclear Security Administration.[2]”

At least there will be some new faces in the annual OPSEC training.

That point - when they had stopped using the Chair in many states, but before it was entirely phased out by SCOTUS, crime and murder rates skyrocketed or seemed to without looking at damned statistics. Now of course, murder is common place because the worst that can happen is to get free room, board, medical, gyms entertainment for life.

Good points—we need a real deterrent for criminals—and I think I have an idea.

Mandatory Covid vaxxes for prisoners—including every booster as long as they are in prison.
