So, if you yell “I LOVE YOU MAN!” before you whack them is it no longer a “HATE” crime?

> Worse yet, what will happen if someone “feels” hated? <

Good point. People are already being purged just because they said something that offended some delicate liberal. Careers are ended over this, and lives are ruined.

Liberals used to defend “offensive” speech because it was a form of free speech. But that idea is so yesterday. Offensive speech is now a form of hate speech, and the person involved must be severely punished.

Hate crime laws were created to criminalize anything a White says or does, or doesn’t say or doesn’t do, and to set free any non-White who physically attacks a White.

The laws are always expanding (as foreseen by the makers of the original law) so they include other colors, all the non-standard ways of doing sex, all the insane death cult religions and people who insanely pretend they are the other sex.

This is a great way to further Balkanize a country.

There's political power in being designated a victim group. All sorts of government benefits, judges and media more likely to be lax with your misdeeds, colleges more likely to accept you, arts grants more likely to favor you. Etc.

As a result, ethnic and "gender" advocacy groups jostle for position.

Hate crime stats are never accurate.

* Some groups (gays, Jews) are politically sophisticated and well organized when it comes to reporting even minor incidents.

* Some groups (Asians, Latino immigrants) are less likely to report, in the latter case because they fear the police.

* Some groups (whites, Christians, straights, men) don't even bother, because it's not a hate crime if it happens to them.

Furthermore, hate crime stats often simply state the number of incidents, not the quality. A Latino gangsta murdering a black, a black beating up a gay, or a swastika painted on a sidewalk, all count as one incident.

But the real fun is when the victim groups fight each other.

* Are women transphobic for not wanting trannies in the ladies' room? Or are trannies sexist for invading a female space?

* Are Arabs anti-Semitic for denouncing Israel? Or are Jews Islamophobic for dismissing Muslim complaints?

* Are Asians racist for opposing college racial quotas? Or are blacks and Latinos anti-Asian for insisting on quotas?

When I was a kid in the 1970s, my father assured me that by the time I was old, we'd be past race. That affirmative action and ethnic grievance groups were just a temporary phase caused by past racism and anti-Semitism. That later generations, growing up in a post-discrimination America, would see all Americans as fellow equals.

Instead, it's gotten worse. The benefits of being a victim have increased. And new victim groups have mushroomed. Trannys? Really?

It's the new Class Warfare. Only instead of Rich vs. Poor, it's now Everyone vs. Straight, White, Christian Males.

Agreed. The entire CRT construct is just classic Marxism with race replacing capital. The goals are the same. This is the battle they’ve decided to go all in on, as the final push.

So, this protects Christians and conservatives against satanic leftists? I thought so.

As a juror I'd never vote "guilty" on any "hate crime" charge. Of course I'd look at the circumstances connected to the "crime" (e.g.,a white guy punches a black guy for no good reason) and if the evidence was convincing I'd vote "guilty" on the assault. But that's it. Nothing else.

I'm sure DickBloom will be investigating this hate crime in San Jose real soon:

Of course that was the pro-Trump rally back in '16 so it's "ancient history" to trash like DickBloom

You’re right - rather than framing the argument around ‘class warfare’ they frame it around ‘race warfare’... both leading to commie sh*thole countries rather than prosperous free capitalist countries.

A pox on the human filth that bring communism to any country.

Thought Police Alert!

Better not say anything negative about:

The commission will charge serfs with hate crimes retroactively (going back to 1776)...

And who defines whether any crime is a hate crime or not?

The criteria of decision will most likely be:... "if you're BLACK it is NOT a HATE CRIME... If you're WHITE it IS a HATE CRIME
