There is no more electricity in the whole country after the two largest oil-powered power plants in Lebanon were forced to shut down due to a lack of fuel.
The affected thermoelectric plants Zahrani and Deir Ammar power stations had been providing 40% of Lebanon’s electricity, according to their operator, Electricité Du Liban.
The blackout could last a few days, as a Lebanese government official told Reuters.
“The Lebanese power network completely stopped working at noon today, and it is unlikely that it will work until next Monday, or for several days.”
Hand out mini windmills to everyone./s
It’s all by design.
Back to the Stone Age....Wilma!
A hint of what United States citizens (except for the elitists) will face this winter.
You wouldn’t want to have any solar power in the desert.
Who is behind these shortages I wonder. And why?
Da Joooooooooos!!!!!!!
I got a brand new Generac, still in box...real cheap.
Might need a little maintenance.
(Fell a few feet off a loading dock into floodwaters, took six days to recover, but, hey...fixable.)
Just let me know.
Should be good for a couple of homes, as long you take times using the fridge and stove and limit to 2-forty watt bulbs.
No delivery, though.
Coming to a former superpower near you, soon.
” Its all by design.”
Yes it is.

JUST IN Police cars revolving light After Lebanon, China and India also face power cuts amid fuel crisis and cities could go into blackout. Warning for power cuts issued in Delhi and residents of Noida also report power outages.
fuel gauge broken???
Put some squirrels on a treadmill and make them run really f……g fast. Wait, squirrel farts. Not good.
We really need to have this happen here in the United States for 48 hours. I’d hate it, but something drastic needs to happen before these idiots learn that what their doing will fail.
Can anyone offer a cogent explanation for this? Who controls the countries electrical grids? Why are they failing?
Always!
Burning the fuel makes the thermo.
Thermoelectric as opposed to solar-, wind-, hydro-...
I think it's a case of:
1) Ruling class strips the wealth out of the country and transfers it offshore,
2) The currency of the country collapses in value by over 90%,
3) There isn't enough of the devalued currency in the country to purchase the fuel and food and whatever else that the country needs to continue to operate as a civilization.
