The Australian state of Victoria reported its highest daily record of COVID-19 cases on Friday.
Victoria reported 1,838 new cases and five new deaths, becoming the ninth consecutive day the state has seen more than 1,000 cases reported, The Associated Press reported.
The state with the second-highest population in the country has more than 16,000 current active coronavirus cases.

If Covid tests have a false positive rate that’s greater than zero, how will they ever get the number of “cases” down to zero? I suggest that they stop testing.

I think the only valid reason for testing is in the very earliest stages of an incipient pandemic when you MIGHT be able to do contact tracing and contain the sick. Once the pandemic is global and the disease ubiquoutous, what’s the point of testing? Especially with high false positive rates.
There are demonstrations against the lock downs in Awfulstralia. That’s more than I can say here.

Me and my wife just got over COVID. Took me three tests just to get a positive (they are barely putting the swab in the nose anymore). I have documented my story. Negative antibodies, then positive test, then positive antibodies. As bullshit as their reliance on antibodies is, thatās what they will use. If they ever are forced to recognize natural immunity, I want to have evidence. I have been work from home for 18 months with two delays on the office reopening. But sooner or later, we will be back and they havenāt announced the rules.
I thought more people have gotten jabbed in Australia lately due to the government imposing, er I mean imploring, them to.
