The U.S. economy created jobs at a much slower pace than expected pace in September, a pessimistic sign at a time of concerns over the path of the pandemic, stubbornly high inflation and dysfunction in Washington.

Nonfarm payrolls rose by just 194,000 in the month, compared to the Dow Jones estimate of 500,000, the Labor Department reported Friday. The unemployment rate fell to 4.8%, against the expectation for 5.1%.

Ah, now that the (supposed) president is a democrat again, any low job numbers are “unexpected”.

That is the biggest joke of all. I just checked, we have 4 million *fewer* jobs than we did before covid, and the unemployment rate is almost back to normal??? Um, no.

Lower number means those who were on unemployment for an extended period of time have dropped off and are not actively looking for a job - as well as those that have gotten jobs.

The wage increases are more than offset by inflation.

They’ll probably say Covid killed all the workers, import more Haitians and Afghanis! And the Dow will rise by 400 points on the news. All is well!

Rumor has it that some NYS health systems are in some serious deep doo doo, staffing-wise.

And that state regulators are happy to look the other way as long as vaxx refuseniks get pink slipped.

Unemployment down to 4.8% which will be the rat talking point but that’s a symptom of people dropping out of the job market and low participation %.

Forcing termination of the “unclean” by the Biden Regime’s edicts should help. Help like dropping an anchor thru the hull of a ship.

Its because of the number of people in the workforce- its presently 61.6% which is pathetic, down .1%.

Fewer people in the labor market the easier it is to get a low unemployment number. People won’t work and don’t want to work when they are getting freebies from zhao biden and co.

In January, 2020 the participation rate was 63.4%. President Trump got it back over 61% very quickly after the CCP virus lockdowns. It’s barely moves since zhao has been squatting in the WH:

Its funny but i have not heard or read about mass layoffs for NY health workers or NYC teachers since the mandate deadlines.

Can’t believe all those people got vaxxed or fired.

…concerns over the path of the pandemic, stubbornly high inflation and dysfunction in Washington

Sure, Cox, that’s it. Uh huh.

All the blame is on Democrats, their insane policies, and their now-exposed hard-core COMMUNISM. Nominating a woman to be comptroller of the currency who was “educated” in Moscow, won the Lenin prize, and wants to destroy banking? Insane spending with all the money going to Dem politicians and unions? Capital gains taxes that will bleed the country dry? Wide open borders and “refugees” flooding us with millions of blood sucking leaches? Weak national defense? Likely loss of Taiwan and China threatening Australia, Guam, and Hawaii?

100% of the cluster-fark started last January. We’ve never seen so much destruction in such a short amount of time. I’m surprised the numbers held up as good as they did. A massive recession or worse is brewing.
