Former President Donald Trump told Fox News in an exclusive interview on Thursday that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell must be replaced among caucus leadership, after the 79-year-old Kentuckian led 10 other Senate Republicans in giving Democrats enough votes to break the filibuster on a debt ceiling increase.

Zero’s Bitch Mitch is now Plug’s Bitch. He’s gotta go. Josh Hawley should take over as Senate Leader.
Too many old white turtles in charge!

Who else did you have in mind, Mr. Trump?
I want His Turtle-ness gone too, but that is a very complex and demanding job. Very cerebral. Who else could be doing this? And please don’t say Lindsey Graham.
“There’s nothing better than sowing seeds of distrust in a garden of assholes”
I didn’t make that up. Just enjoying the comment.
Yes, Trump should make it is mission to clean up House and Senate, starting from the top down.
Those 11 should be asked to resign. Who to replace Mitchell? Maybe Rand Paul? And I’m not suggesting him, just thinking out loud...
POTUS, Trump is right on target...Traitor, Turncoat, Mitch McConnell must be removed from public office...immediately!!!
McConnell’s maneuver.
What exactly did we expect to happen no matter who was Minority Leader? At some point the debt ceiling would be raised. The math doesn’t permit otherwise. Y’all do realize tax revs only cover 1/2 of spending? You can go to the budget and decide what you’d like to erase entirely and revs still won’t cover it. The stimulus package last year and this year still is spending. The debt ceiling would have to raise no matter what Conservative cuts might be desired.
Regardless, eliminating McConnell has a problem. Removal from that position likely leads to resignation, and the Governor of Kentucky is a Democrat. He’d appoint one to replace.
Taking deep breaths to control my rage. Especially after both our South Dakota Senators voted with #itch.
Much as I hate it, I am going to have to re-register to vote as a (gulp) Republican to primary John Thune. Talk about a guy who has been totally corrupted and owned by the Swamp!
We would be ahead by banning fossil fools, like Biden, Pelosi, Feinstein, Schumer, Leahy....,McConnell etc.
Where he can join his brethren.
Richard Grenell.

What was expected was to make the Democrats own it with a 50-50 vote with Harris breaking the tie.
Now, Schumer can call it bipartisan to deflect the blame away from Democrats for their runaway Blue State Bailouts and Green Deal spending.
McConnell once again snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by giving the Democrats the political win instead of keeping it for Republicans.
In my opinion, this was an "own goal" on McConnell's part. The Democrats had the votes to do it themselves, and McConnell didn't make them do it.
Now Republicans can't go into the mid-term elections campaigning on Democrats locking out Republicans and unilaterally raising the debt ceiling to pay for their bailouts.

It is from Justified, Season 6 Episode 6, “Alive Day”. Raylan Givens is quoting “Glitz” by Elmore Leonard, page 165 or so.
Here’s an idea Owen, quit spending.
Kinda like we do when our household expenses go above our income. We hunker down and quit buying stuff.
Government has no concept of any sort of fiscal responsibility.
The RINO governor of my state announced that they have a $2.5 Billion overage. Immediately, the losers in the legislature ran out press releases about how they wanted to spend it.
A tax cut wasn’t suggested by many.
McConnell and the other nine losers need to resign in shame. They had an opportunity to punish the Democrats and once again, they blew it.
