ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Families desperate to try and save their loved ones who are dying from COVID-19 have begun suing local hospitals that refuse to administer Ivermectin, a controversial drug not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat COVID-19.
A judge ordered Rochester General Hospital on Friday to give a COVID-19 patient the experimental treatment as a last-ditch effort to save his life. It comes after the man’s daughter filed a lawsuit against the hospital to use the drug in an attempt to save her father.

Have these patients been getting MCAs?
Ok, what is a MCA? Would they know if they were given one?
Ivermectin works well when administered early.
Not sure it can help at the end.
Monoclonal antibodies
This is a giant mistake that is frequently made..
Nice of you to point it out.
If you think of “none” as “no one” it helps
I think the best plan would be to get some Ivermectin before you get sick and take it early. Don’t wait until you or a loved one are in the hospital.

Sorry for the triple post. Oops.
Monoclonal Antibody.
I think Trump got one.
There is a huge bias against using these drugs off label usage. It is both in the political community and the media. It is suspicious, not necessary, and looks a lot like big pharma is setting the narrative. It is really pinging my paranoia.
crimes against humanity for suppressing alternative drug therapies
It reportedly helped the mother of a friend, who walked out of the ICU a day after Ivermectin was administered.
We have given it after 3 weeks near a guy’s death bed and it still worked. Took a couple weeks to get his strength back but it worked and he would have died otherwise.
The research definitely shows it is most effective if done early, but it shows some effect in late treatment as well. Even in late trials it appears the efficacy is better than Merck’s molnupiravir (50%). Research is here ivmmeta.com

Yep.
I guess I am about as nit picky about English as the post Nazis are about double posting. I got that from my dad, who always insisted on correct English.
If it was a very expensive drug, with a very limited supply and severe side effects, including deaths, then I might see where they're coming from.
But ivermectin is a low cost generic, with no side effects and ... uhh...can you say India?
Oh, and there are peer reviewed studies showing it's efficacy.
The conspiracy against Ivermectin and HCQ is transparent.
Considering that everything that Fauxi and the feds have told us about the WuFlu has been either a lie or wrong, they have no credibility.
Earlier this year, our small town hospital, run by the Univ of WV Med School was prescribing ivermectin and the whole FLCCC protocol on the suspicion of covid.
Don't know if they still are.
