The Biden Justice Department’s Lawless Threat against American Parents
National Review ^ | October 5, 2021 | Andrew C. McCarthy

Posted on 10/05/2021 9:41:54 AM PDT by karpov

Even as President Biden shrugged his shoulders over progressives’ harassment and intimidation of a sitting United States senator of his own party — a crime under Arizona law — Biden’s Justice Department was running roughshod over the First Amendment, threatening to investigate and prosecute parents for protesting against school boards and teachers who insist on indoctrinating children with the cultural Marxism beloved by Democrats.

On Monday, Attorney General Merrick Garland issued a memorandum in which he wailed about the “disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff.” Clearing his throat with an empty nod to the inconvenient fact that the Constitution protects “spirited debate,” Garland incorrectly — indeed, outrageously for someone of his experience as a Justice Department official and federal appellate judge — claimed that free-speech principles yield not only to “threats of violence” but also to “efforts to intimidate individuals based on their views” (at least, evidently, individuals not named Sinema or Manchin).

Garland knows this is dangerous nonsense. I personally know that he knows it. He was a high-ranking official in the Clinton Justice Department, which gave me a very hard time — though it ultimately relented — when I proposed charging a notorious terrorist with soliciting acts of violence and seditious conspiracy.

We had elaborate evidence, much of it in the form of recorded statements, showing that Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman believed himself to be in a forcible war against the United States, that his followers had carried out and plotted terrorist attacks, and that he had personally called for both bombings of American military installations and the murder of Egypt’s then-president.

I imagine I’m going to be hearing a parent standing before the board, listing out issues that they have with the decisions of the board and ending with My Name is John Smith, i can be reached john.smith@email.com, and I am running for the school board to fix these issues. AND its probably going to be happening frequently.

Maybe you should read the article. Then decide whether the argument the author gives in opposition to Garland’s declaration is valid. You might learn something.

Democrats not only think they own the education system, they’re working like they do own the education system. Ask Virginia candidate for governor, Terry McAuliffe, how that works.

But, democrats also “own” the media, and they’re going to be working to ban the rebel media outlets, like FOX news.

Now, they also believe that they own the banking system, and YOUR money that’s being held by those banks.

In order to pay for all of their agenda items, they will be coming after ALL Americans’ money, not only from the rich. For certain, they’ll be coming after all home owners and all real estate owners. Under communism/socialism, there is no such thing as private ownership of anything.

Once they do take over your bank accounts and your homes, it will be time to fight back. In fact, we should be fighting back right now.

Garland is a son of Satan, just like Jesus Christ said in John 8:44.

You now live in a communist country.
You can expect these draconian rules...

Clearly, the American sheeple have decided that it just doesn't matter...

There will be thousands of these draconian rules in the next few years as our former freedoms & liberties continued to be trampled by our communist masters... Get used to it or do something significant about it...

Our beloved masters only have to schedule more stimulus checks and the sheeple are fine with the draconian rules...

BLM ransacked and looted stores, burned down a police station, set fire to courthouses and ICE facilities and police cars, attacked bystanders and journalists, injured 2,000 cops, and killed a dozen or more people, yet Merrick Garland could not bring himself to call them an "extremist" or "terrorist" organization.

But parents criticize CRT and Covid policy at school board meetings, and THEY are the terrorists. I can't stand that man or his boss. They are both evil, duplicitous men.

Once one recognizes they work for Satan, everything they do makes perfect sense.

“efforts to intimidate individuals based on their views”

Where was this smelly animal the last five years when leftists intimidated speakers on college campuses, overturned their tables and stole their materials, went into restaurants to intimidate Trump officials or ordinary customers, and rioted in the streets for four months? The man is a total fraud, worse than a hypocrite, an evil, evil man.

The left can run amok with impunity, but any presentation of a conservative view is "intimidation."

In other words, Garland had to be dragged kicking and screaming to prosecute an actual terrorist because the terrorist belonged to a protected class - Muslims. But he's very eager to harass people simply for speaking their minds if they are NOT among his favorites.

Read the article. That’s nice, McCarthy makes all the obvious points.

So what? They’re just professional whiners. Where were they when the Podhorzer gang was stealing the election?

Making excuses for it and castigating Trump. Cuz that’s how ya look kewl in NYC and DC. And god knows they wouldn’t wanna miss any of the parties over a little thing like 6 million phony votes.

We’re way past academic discussion of scholarly articles. These SOBs are talking about using federal force to stomp on people trying to get rid of the low lifes in their local school board. Wait...where’s the federal interest in that?

NR is meaningless, a pantywaist rag of limp wrists playing perpetual opposition to the Big Guys who always kick dirt in their faces and take their girlfriends.

Yawn.....another day in Obama’s third term.......

Biden’s DOJ is running roughshod over the First Amendment:
<><> threatening to investigate parents
<><> salivating to prosecute parents
<><> making it a crime to speak out against tax paid school boards and teachers
<><> defending indoctrinating other people’s children
<><> advancing the failed cultural Marxism stupidly embraced by Democrats.

On Monday, Biden’s Attorney General, USSC failed wannabe, Merrick Garland, issued a vacuous memorandum in which he wailed about the “disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff.”

Clearing his throat with an empty nod to the inconvenient fact that the Constitution protects “spirited debate,” ignorant Garland incorrectly — indeed, outrageously for someone of his experience as a Justice Department official and federal appellate judge — claimed that free-speech principles yield not only to “threats of violence” but also to “efforts to intimidate individuals based on their views” (at least, evidently, individuals not named Sinema or Manchin).
