New York Times screams louder: Jan. 6 protest was 'worse than we knew': Is anyone falling for this anymore?

While the rest of the country comes to its senses and realizes that "Jan. 6" was a way overblown example of fake news intended to crush dissent from the vantage point of wokedom, here comes The New York Times to assert that "Jan. 6 Was Worse Than We Knew."

Methinks the dissembling Times is desperately employing a smokescreen, the better to divert attention from the disaster the Biden presidency has proven to be, from the unconditional surrender to the Taliban to Biden's failure, thus far, to rally the country to the banner of his "spend until economic ruination" paralyzes the country into totalitarianism.

The lies of The New York Times are likely to be accepted only by those predisposed to fall for this mendacious organ of Deep State propaganda around this theme: "Mr. Trump may never stop trying to undermine American democracy." Only a rabid radical afflicted with terminal Trump Derangement Syndrome is likely to fall for such disinformation anymore.

After little more than nine months in office, Biden has managed to convince more than half of voters that the efforts at undermining our democracy originate on the right side of the political spectrum. The giveaway? This forlorn recognition by the Times, in the sixth paragraph of its October 3 editorial: "Mr. Trump remains the most popular Republican in the country: barring a serious health issue, the odds are good that he will be the party's nominee for president in 2024."

How frustrating it must be for the denizens of the Deep State that their efforts to undermine Mr. Trump notwithstanding, Biden's poll numbers are little better than were Trump's, except that Trump had the media almost monolithically against him, while Biden has the media marching in lockstep to his rabid tune.

America is filled with indoctrinated morons, LOTS of people buy into this.

Heck, I still hear/read people making reference to Trump’s Russia collusion.

With the “Biden” regime crumbling before their eyes, Jan 6 may be the only distraction they have left. They pretty much have no choice except to keep flogging it.

Yes it was worse than we know . . . because the government was actively trying to entrap Trump supporters.

New York Times: “It was worse that anyone knew. It was even worse that the Holocaust! It was the most terrible thing that has ever happened in the entirety of history!”

Russian collusion narrative didn’t work for the Dem mouthpiece Times. Maybe Jan 6 rebellion to overthrow the government will. Wonder if the Times published the picture of the dude with the bullhorns and the 70 year old grandma to underscore how serious the rebellion to overthrow Congress was. Doubt it.

And a dead woman.

I have a member of my extended family living in the Peoples’ Republic of Cambridge, (Mass.). She believes it, and as far as I know everyone in her department does, too. NPR tells them nothing else. Confirmation bias.

Good point.

Yeah, it’s worse than we thought, because the government is
abusing it’s power like never seen before.

Worse than we knew? Yes, we knew the fraternity members stayed inside the velvet ropes but some stepped outside the ropes.

It's worse than we knew (suspected but didn't know for sure) since we found out the FBI had prior knowledge and had informants instigating problems as directed by their handlers outside.

It's also worse than we knew because the FBI continues to cover up Antifa's involvement.

they always have been bitches for Communism and the mass genocide that goes along with it.

How anybody allows them to ever live down Pulitzer Prize-winner and Soviet enthusiast Walter Duranty’s propaganda covering for Stalin’s mass murders/genocide, is beyond me.

This paper is the enemy of Middle Class values and American ideals.

"Mr. Trump remains the most popular Republican in the country: barring a serious health issue, the odds are good that he will be the party's nominee for president in 2024."

This is a pretty disgusting take on Trump's future...

A little wishful-thinking signalling to their violent, crazy base?

Amazing that the G*dD@Mned lie machine of the New York Times and the Washington Post always sing in Unison.

Why are the two cities most enriched by Federal spending and policies always seeing "insurrection" in any challenge to their lies?

Do you get it BroJoeK? New York and Washington DC are a symbiotic crime cartel which exploits the rest of the nation.

*THEY* are the bad guys.

Like 1861. Exactly like 1861, including political prisoners and the lie spreading machine.
