What about Guam and Puerto Rico? And all the territories?

All of the territory delegates have voting rights in committee, but not on the floor of the House.

Then why is it acting like it is it's own Sovereign state?

DC is beholden to the Deep State, and does its bidding. To the tune of $29T (more, including other liabilities).

I agree with you. If scotus doesn’t have jurisdiction in DC no one does.

Make no doubt that if Eleanor Holmes Norton at a decrepit "pooped-em!" 84 was instead some wokeazz 20-something like Bug-eyed Sandy, SCOTUS would have bent to the will of the MSM.

Anyone living off the government on welfare shouldn’t have any say either.
Not just the people working for it.
The taxpayers are the ones footing the bill and should be the only ones voting and deciding what the money should be spent on.

It certainly wasn’t the intention of our forefathers that it could be returned to the state from which it was taken. And I think the return was illegal.

DC is NOT it’s own state in any way.

Just give it back to Maryland. We have enough liberals in NOVA.

It shouldn’t have been a hard decision for anyone who has read the Constitution.

Then why is it acting like it is it's own Sovereign state?

Because Congress is remiss in its duties and allowed DC to do so. They allowed for a mayor and other admin stuff, that the district shouldn't even have. But Congress is the only one with direct authority over DC, so unless they do something, no one will. Courts can strike down unConstitutional stuff that DC does, but not much else they can do to fix it.
