It is difficult to get my point across in 100 words sound bites. I am not talking about siblings babysitting for other siblings. I am not talking about relatives. I am not talking about a situation where a man has a specific connection to an activity, like a dad whose kids are now grown. I am talking about elementary schools who allow into their facilities men who have no such connections. If I had first graders and found out that’s such a man was in their classroom, I would go nuclear on the school. As far as babysitters; Do you know any males who are itching to babysit little kids who are not their relatives?
Did you babysit for siblings? Because that is not what I am talking about. By the way, just out of curiosity, what grade level were your male Teachers in elementary school?. We had one male teacher, who taught physical education.
The FBI records have a specific fingerprint section showing the application to work in a educational setting, and one for nursing homes. There were no cracks, just someone who thought he was a real keeper.
EXCUSE ME; but this has nothing to do with PC, it’s just another example of school administrators not doing their jobs, their ADMINISTRATORS because they are HORRIBLE TEACHERS who got out of the classroom as fast as they could because they can’t handle and hate kids.
My Son is a teacher in an elementary school 5th grade), he chose elementary because he says that’s when the kids show the most interest and curiosity.

Normal adult males have been teaching in all grades in this country for at least the last 100 years.
I went to elementary school starting in 1951, I still remember that my 3rd grade teacher was a man (former soldier in WW II), seemed like an OK teacher to me, actually he was the teacher who taught me to enjoy reading
You don’t seem to have a problem with male teachers when it comes to high school age children, that’s where the real problems are swept under the rug.
I know this because I spent 32 years as the Maintenance Supervisor of a school district of 48 thousand students of ALL AGES!

I had three teachers like that from kindergarten thru 12 th grade; our parents and THOSE SPECIAL TEACHERS are the people who made us who we are today.
After I joined the Marine Corps I lost contact with them (never went back to my hometown) but they will remain in my memory and prayers for the rest of my life.

I get your point, but I think you are still painting with a broad brush. My brother was a teenager who was asked to babysit for friends of my parents, so they weren’t relatives. Having 5 younger siblings, he was well equipped for the task. So he did babysit for them. He grew into being a wonderful man with four of his own children.
I also had need of babysitting services when my own children were young, and asked a friend of mine if their eldest son would babysit. He agreed and was a fine babysitter. He also grew into being a stand up father with three children of his own.
So in my own little life, I have two examples of teenage boys who babysat, who are great men. Multiply that by others who have had the same experience.
Does it mean every teenage boy who babysits is a great guy? No. Do some of them have awful proclivities? Yes.
The point is that you started off suggesting that nearly all men and teenage boys should never be around children, then after you’ve been called out by a couple people, have narrowed down your rant.
We all know and understand the kind you mean, and you understand, too, the kind of males some others of us mean. You think I don’t have my eyes wide open to pedophiles because I think *SOME* men are actual good guys, but you would be wrong to think I am being naive. I’m not.
This is kind of like hearing that all women are going to take their ex to the dry cleaners during divorce whether or not the husband did anything wrong. That’s also painting broadly, and there are a lot of bitter people out there, who because of their experiences think every female is a bitch.
It’s just wrong.
I understand you are trying to warn people. Nothing wrong with that. Just don’t go lumping all men in the same category as these abusers who we know you’re referring to.

The year plus long Portland blm/ antifa terrorist binge revealed that a large percent of them were grade school through college teachers with the majority of those being grade school teachers.
Every school district in America needs a background check and investigation to weed out all the blm/antifa and CCP backed and funded group’s.

The schools are a hot bed of sedition and perversion.
The good teachers have probably been purges, fired or quit.

School admins are also probably the strong holds and should be background checked first.

We are kind of on the same page. You are talking about scenarios where males were recruited to babysit; they were not going around actively trying to babysit small children. I’m talking about boys/men who, not having any connection to a school or family, try to get into situations where they are close to small children. Yes, this is a broad brush, and it my be unfair to a few. But I’ve seen so many cases of child abuse via political correctness that it makes my stomach turn.

Is this really an appropriate response? How childish can you be? I am in criminal courts every day. And yes, I do know a lot about pedophiles, because I have prosecuted them and been a defense attorney. I’ll make my point clearer: If some teenage boy or adult male, without any clear connection to the small children or school, tries to work themselves into being close to small children, your antenna should go up. We are not talking about “Donuts for Dads” in 2nd grade. Or the guy who coached his sons in basketball 20 years ago and still continues to coach 4th graders. Or the oldest son in a family who gets recruited by mom/dad or aunt/uncle to babysit relatives. If some man wants to be a 1st grade teacher, 99% chance he’s a perv. Or if some neighborhood teenage boy is looking for babysitting work, 99% chance (I’ve seen child abuse occur in this scenario multiple times).
