Parents Furious After Discovering the True Identity of Man Who Volunteered at Elementary School for 2 Years

https://youtu.be/QDlgz_ZlbAI

Parents are outraged after discovering that a man who has been volunteering inside their children’s northern California elementary school for two years is a registered sex offender.

KRCR-TV reported 36-year-old Sean Green had been working at Columbia Elementary School in Redding, California, until just last week.

District Superintendent Clay Ross explained in a message to parents that Green fell through the cracks because the school relied only on using his fingerprints when it conducted a background investigation.

You were a tutor for an ELEMENTARY school? I didn’t know that 3rd graders required tutors. I’m talking about small children. To be clear, I am not suggesting that normal men do not work with children. For example, I coached my sons in football in pee-wee league, and I still continue to coach, but nobody thinks this is weird because I have a connection and am clearly heterosexual. It is weird that any guy would choose to be an elementary school teacher, let alone volunteer in such a school. Guys aren’t wired like that, but pedophiles are.

You are an ass, a first-class ass. What I “know” is that pedophiles like to be around little children. I also “know” that typical men would rank hanging around little kids in school right up there with jock itch. There is nothing weird about men coaching sports or being involved with their own kids. Or, for example, continuing to volunteer with children after THEIR children grow up and no longer play sports or are in Scouts or whatever. It is absolutely absurd to have grown men in an elementary school.

Extremism in the defense of kids is no vice. I speak as an attorney who has prosecuted and defended thousands of cases. I see cases in court all of the time. The PC couple that allows the teenage boy next door to baby sit only to find out he’s molesting their son. The Boy Scout volunteer who has no kids who molests Boy Scouts. At my elementary school decades ago, we had TWO men in the entire facility, the principal (at a time when few women were principals) and the PE teacher. 99% women, and that’s the way it should be, at least until middle and high school. I know there are exceptions, but if I saw a guy VOLUNTEERING in an elementary school, my alarm bells would be ringing loudly.

Get out of government schools.

There are so many options. Its not difficult. Parents just need to do a little work and take a little responsibility.

That is extreme. I had quite a few male tezchers in elementary and jr. high and never noted the slightest gaydar reading. Nor did I hear of any trouble with any of them.

You would probably have stampeded Fred Rogers off the air.

It’s like with coaches for youth teams, I wouldn’t trust a coach who didn’t have his own kid on the team.

Many many schools contain pedophiles. It’s hard to convict them. The one who abused me was a school principal. He got caught eventually, copped a plea to something minor (he was arrested on multiple counts with multiple victims as young as 3), and never spent one night in jail. A guy who had an extra beer might have done harder time.

The school that I work at in the last 15 years has had 5 women be fired for child abuse, battery or sexual abuse of children.

My first day on the job, the principal (who is now the assistant superintendent) said that, “if you get caught, there is nothing that I can do to help you”. After my legal internship with a prosecutor’s department, I told the SVU about these comments which they said if they had people to corroborate my story, it could be tried as conspiracy to not report. This same lady let our assistant athletic director steal tens of thousands of dollars. She dishonest and dirty and so she doesn’t see dishonest and dirty things as bad. If people don’t take these wicked people seriously, then it exposes children to danger. Even if men don’t work in schools, women can be just as bad.

Bad people try to put themselves in positions to do more bad things. Power hungry people look for positions of power. Pervs look to expand their opportunity to exploit. People who steal money, put themselves in positions to be in charge on money.

Really, it’s a matter of constant vigilance, and it doesn’t matter what situation you are in.

An even bigger issue is the lack of fathers in children’s lives. The job of a dad is to protect his children from bad people with evil intent. Pervs have always existed, but these situations are going to grow so long as there aren’t men to step up and do their job to protect. Single parent maternal households breed poverty, criminal children, mental health issues, low IQ, behavioral problems and neglect. It also leaves children open to male predators (and female ones too!) who feed of adult female loneliness and poverty.

"Am I some kind of pervert?"

As long as there are Democrat pedophiles alive, that's the way to bet.

Sorry, you chose the wrong time and government to be charitable.

I understand what you’re saying, and that is somewhat true, BUT I still say you’re painting with too broad a brush. Maybe you have refined your statement to VOLUNTEERING?

I know a handful of men, and a couple when they were teenagers, who were excellent babysitters because they were the eldest boy in a fairly large family. They grew up to be excellent fathers.

As I said, too broad a brush.

I agree to disagree with you if that’s what you wish. You won’t convince me otherwise from my opinion. One of the men that I refer to is my oldest brother, who was one of the best men this world has ever seen, and who I recently lost. Your statement attempts to make my big brother into a pervert, which he was NOT.

The best teacher I had in elementary school was a black man, son of Mississippi sharecroppers, who told his life story without bitterness, only matter-of-factly in a way that helped us see and appreciate, for example, being able to buy loose leaf paper instead of picking up old brown shopping bags from the side of the road. I don’t know how he did it, but he did. It was when I discovered that a child could be smarter than an adult — I was quicker, and I knew it.

I learned the difference between intelligence and wisdom that year — he was a wise, kindness personified. This was in the 60s, and boys in his class kept their shirts tucked in and were expected to act like gentlemen; girls in skirts sat with their ankles crossed and were expected to act like ladies, and we all shined our shoes. He invited us into the classroom when we were finished lunch (what teacher does that?!) to play jacks, checkers, etc., and we had dances (boys in a line on one side, girls in another.

He taught ethics, humility, grace, and long before inspired self-respect above getting the grade.

His name was Raymond E. Alford, and I have tried to find any mention of him — although likely not hard enough. But he is the best of men, and I imagine hundreds of us would be lesser people if not for him.

the thought of not having known Mr. Alford — I would not be the same person, although my wish nowadays is that I had learned better his lovingkindness.

No men in elementary school? Sexist and demeaning!
