n the Virginia gubernatorial debate on Tuesday evening, Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe insisted that parents (should have no role0, in directing the education of their children and doubled down in a subsequent media interview.

McAuliffe, a former governor of Virginia and longtime Democratic operative, issued this pronouncement after being asked whether “protections for transgender students” should be determined at the state level or in each school district.

[SNIP]“You believe school systems should tell children what to do,” Youngkin said to McAuliffe. “I believe parents should be in charge of their kids’ education.”

In response, McAuliffe said, “I’m not going to let parents come into schools and actually take books out and make their own decisions,” adding, “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”

Clinton bag-man, McAuliffe knows what is best for your children....In response, McAuliffe said, “I’m not going to let parents come into schools and actually take books out and make their own decisions,” adding, “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”

Whew...I'd vote for the businessman, (If You Care about Democracy, You Should Want Glenn Youngkin to Win) not the politician,Terry McAuliffe!

A National Review link I won’t bother to read. I’m also a former subscriber. Hopefully they’ll soon join the Weekly Standard.

He was a Clinton protege. Too bad Hillary forgot about him
along the way. She could have saved the nation a lot of
trouble. Of course we all know, that’s why he’s still got
a pulse.

Arkanside review...

"“I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”"

And why not, outlaw parental rights and free speech?

Our communist masters are living large and in total control...
This is just the barebones beginning...

When Americans realize how bad things are, they will band together, once again, at Concord Bridge and chant:
Bow down!... Obey!... Snitch!...

“Terry McAuliffe insisted that parents should have no role, in directing the education of their children”

Won’t hurt him though, as Frank Luntz will not permit the Republicans to run on that issue because it will ‘alienate’ the Soccer Moms.

Does that make any sense? No. Will Republicans running believe Luntz? Yes, because they need funding from the GOP.

Forget about it. Kids these days in their schools know nothing about the men from Virginia that fought to save our commonwealth and bring forth a new nation conceived in liberty. All they know about these days is about a black halfrican community worker named n0Bama from the ghetto called Chicago that saved the country and turned it into a racially-divided third world country . . . they even have their own new anthem.

I’d pick a name randomly from the phone book before I would ever waste my vote on McAuliffe.

So, I'm supposed to let a group of folks with degrees considered to be at the grade school level by properly educated folks choose what my children are taught? In a pig's Hillabeast's eye.

Sadly, once the totals from everywhere else are reported, and in the darkness of the early morning hours, Fairfax, Prince William, and, yes, even Loudoun counties, will assure the McAuliffe get just enough votes to win.

My sister lives in Loudoun cty. It’s not just women but all the new immigrants. All their “new” neighbors are staunch new Democrats. They believe the Republican party is anti immigrant. Cannot distinguish between legal and illegal
