White House: Democrats Will Be ‘Disappointed’ as Party Scales Back Biden Agenda
The Epoch Times ^ | October 3, 2021 | Jack Phillips

A top White House adviser said that Democrats will be disappointed as the party works to trim President Joe Biden’s agenda amid party infighting, although he predicted that two major components would be passed in Congress.

“People will be disappointed. People will not get everything they want, that is the art of legislating, but the goal here is to get both bills, and we’re going to fight until we get both bills,” Cedric Richmond, director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, told “Meet the Press” on Sunday.

Late last week, infighting between moderate and leftist members of the Democratic Party over the $1.1 trillion infrastructure bill and the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill prompted a Capitol Hill visit by Biden. However, Biden left the meeting on Oct. 1, admitting to reporters that no deal is intact.

More moderate Democratic lawmakers have sought an immediate vote on the infrastructure bill, which passed along bipartisan lines several weeks ago, in the House. Progressives have said that there first needs to be an agreement to pass the $3.5 trillion measure, which would bolster climate initiatives and social welfare programs.Representative Cedric Richmond

In an interview with Fox News on Sunday, Richmond admitted that the Biden administration is “concerned about delivering” on the agenda and added that Biden “wants both bills and he expects to get both bills.”

Americans on the other hand, are hoping for Biden’s nonsense to be scuttled completely.

Horse pucky. It is not social welfare it is using taxpayer money to pay for leftist indoctrination in between voting cycles.

I don’t get it and will never understand it.

Why have they decided to tie together the 1.2 trillion and the 3.5 trillion bills together, and some liberals won’t vote for one without the other being voted on first, and other such chatter we hear on the Sunday shows?

Why not take them one at a time, and indeed, why not vote on just the “hard” infrastructure portion of the bills, pull that out and vote separately? Why is there a desire by the powers that be, to try to vote on gargantuan bills which are 2000 pages long which nobody has even read to know what the heck they are voting on?

Yeah, Dems will be up in arms at the notion of ‘no free lunch’ for some things.

There is never enough loot for everybody to get their "rightful share". Somebody always gets shorted when it is time to pass out the swag.

And Leftists well know the futility of "petitions and peaceful protests". They are also very experienced at organizing "mostly peaceful" demonstrations that burn cities.

Interesting times.

And I’m sure the likes of Ocasio-Cortez are royally peeved at what’s happening. Many hopes and dreams for a socialist future may be evaporating in front of her. She’s going to have a good cry. She could go to her favorite bar and cry in her beer. Heck she could hash things out with the bartender, as she knows all about that business.

Biden gang also said no Haitians would be allowed asylum.

They also said no Americans were left behind in Afghanistan.

Yes, let’s all believe what the Biden crime syndicate has to say.

Is he the guy in charge of finding little girls for Joe to sniff? Sounds like a John Podesta type.

It's becoming very obvious that a lot of Democrats don't want to be identified with this disaster of an "Administration."

Especially the ones who hope to maybe get re-elected sometime.

Despite what the radical Left thinks, not everybody is down with the "great reset."

Making Americans feel like they're in the Twilight Zone isn't exactly a winning strategy.

14 Republicans should pull out their support for the infrastructure bill until the 3.5 trillion dollar bill is defeated.

I think the wacko liberals are smart enough to know that they have to tie these two together to be able to push the really bad stuff through.

That the real crap they want to pass would have absolutely no chance all by itself.
The green agenda will really damage the economy. Even most of the Dems realize that.

Look at how much Obamacare damaged the economy.
Companies stopped hiring and spending capital. We had minimal GDP growth for 6+ years.
As soon as the Trump administration removed some of the worst parts the economy surged.

Simple, fellow Americans...Democrat, Joe Biden must go, either by impeachment or by being force to resign by the Democrat Party & the same action should be applied to Democrat, VP, Kamala Harris.

This way House Leader, Democrat Nutcase, Nancy Pelosi will become the illegal POTUS and she will last only a month or twp...period!!!

“Biden Agenda”?

The only agenda Joe Biden has each day is to not soil himself.

I know it is easier to lay all the insanity at the feet of one person but come on “reporters”. Everyone or most everyone in America knows Joe Biden is but a puppet for the Bill Ayers Obama crowd.
