Atlanta's wealthiest suburb is edging closer to separating itself from the city as it introduces a bill to Georgia's legislature that goes up for a vote next year.

With rising crime rates in Atlanta, Bill White, the CEO of Buckhead City Committee (BCC), is pushing for the suburb where the average house price costs $1.4 million, to 'divorce' itself from Atlanta.

'We are living in a war zone in Buckhead,' White told Bloomberg Businessweek. 'Shootings and killings, it just never ends.'

#34: "Buckhead residents deserve to live in safety so they have no other choice than to separate from Atlanta City and form their own city with their own police department."

They need to build a wall around Buckhead, topped with razor wire. As the poet Robert Frost observed: “Good fences make good neighbors.”

There are two formerly wonderful malls in Buckhead, Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza. It is no longer a safe venue for families.

Yeah, that is one of the BIG reasons indoor malls are dying. But no one talks about it; they just blame online shopping. Certainly, online shopping is a factor, but for the most part, outdoor malls seem to be doing fine. We have a big outlet store mall near us that is thriving. Apparently, gangs don’t like the rain and cold weather.

Don’t build a mall on a public transportation zone.

The problem is black culture, which celebrates or condones or ignores black crime, drives out good people of all races.
***Yup. We aren’t criticizing a RACE, we’re criticizing the negative aspects of a harmful CULTURE. Culturism, not racism. Culture can be changed, but race cannot.

The “defund the police” movement is all about installing a national police force, AKA Stasi and funding/paying for former special security forces to protect our elites.

There will be no sheriffs or city police forces, just Federales/Stasi and private special security forces for the ruling elites.

We will have zero: First and Second amendment rights.

The elites will hire the former spec ops people now leaving our military to protect themselves, their businesses and their family members. That is being done now as shown below:

Private armed security outfits have been hired to patrol a popular section of Portland known for its bars and nightlife after the city slashed police funding and saw a year of violence in the area.

“My job is to get you home safe,” one guard for the Ravencrest Force Protection Group, Jean-Pierre LaFont, told Willamette Weekly. “Unless you’re the perpetrator. The only way for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing. So I’m going to do something.”

“This once was a great city,” he added. “This is a great city. It’s the best. We just forgot.”

LaFont, a Navy SEAL veteran, patrols Portland’s Old Town wearing a bulletproof vest, and carrying a 9 mm pistol and an AR-15 rifle. He’s become a common sight in the area every Friday and Saturday night after a local bar owner hired Ravencrest following a shooting in June in the area when two men were shot and bullets sprayed across eight cars.

Trey Gowdy rips lawmakers for funding personal security while pushing to defund police!

“Sunday Night in America” host Trey Gowdy tore into progressive ‘Squad’ member Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., after campaign filings revealed she spent a shocking $70,000 on private security while publically calling for reduced police budgets nationwide.

“Members of Congress are spending more money than ever on their personal security,” Gowdy, a former GOP congressman told viewers Sunday night. “It’s a track tragic reflection of the times we live in. Members of Congress have been threatened with all acts of violence. Because of these threats of violence, members of Congress are allowed to spend campaign money on their safety… safety is priority number one for members of Congress, as it should be. But what about you?” he said in his opening monologue.

This will happen across America as the elites hire our former Spec Ops guys due to the vaccine B$!

Most the elite areas will have their own PD, FD and ambulance service across America in the upcoming year.

Then, they will own/control the local AG’s and Judges.

As its own city, Buckhead can easily afford a police force that WILL stop crime at the city limits. Effective policing will make Buckhead very safe.

In a typical affluent suburb, anybody walking down a residential street looking even slightly sketchy will quickly have cop cars rolling past them, checking them out. Suburban elites may virtue signal with "BLM" yard signs but if a group of "gansta" looking youths saunter by, the panicked housewives are calling 911. No doubt about it.

If Buckhead has it’s own police force, looking exclusively after the interests of Buckhead, and it’s own court, judges, and prosecutors ALSO looking exclusively after the interests of Buckhead (and the state doesn’t interfere) then it may become unhealthy for gang bangers to enter.

That is correct, and more or less immediately. They will stand up those services within a few months of achieving cityhood, should they do so. It has been done before, recently, in the ATL area.

“Oh sure...declaring yourself independent from Atlanta means crime will stop at city limits!😎”

Hopefully they have a plan to disconnect from the MARTA subway. Otherwise the gang members and other criminal have an express train in and out of Buckhead.

Unfortunately they’d still be part of Fulton County and so would still be under the Fulton DA for criminal prosecutions.

I am acquainted with some of the legal talent involved in this, and the word I get is that they’d do something like contract for jail services in a northern exurban county, and impound cars similarly to the south. Ergo, you get arrested misbehaving while in a car, and life really gets crappy logistically to get you bailed out, then to retrieve your car from lock up. We’re talking 1-1/2 to 2 hours from A to B.

There’s talk of her having a security detail beyond the end of her term, like Presidents do. Ridiculous.

Like the anti-Newsom parts of CA, will the small area secessions work or be stomped on my courts, or will the US break into sections?

In Jan., 2020 I read the new book American Secession by F.H Buckley. Although inadequate, in the book and interviews I heard he evenhandedly gave rationales and possibilities for pros and cons.

In one interview he laid out the unhappy possibility of civil war but then went into the ways some areas could split off under legal means (with big legal battles over who pays the national debit and who pays the defense taxes, who gets military protection and so on). California in three parts. Northeast versus middle states. NYC versus New York State.

The interviewer made some objections to secession and then realized the result was it was then logical that civil war was the solution coming soon. Uh, oh. He tried to backtrack but it was clear “Americans really hate the people not like them and don’t want to live near them.” UHauls for moving away from people they hate is going to be the big growth industry now. He was right.

Great picture.

Notice the wonderful diversity shown. All three are different firearms. And gun control is honored as they aim carefully at the targets.

How tall a fence are they going to build?

As tall as it takes. Learn from the Chinese and the Vatican. One part of the Vatican wall is 14 feet deep. Love thy neighbor who stays far from me and lets me pray in peace.

< The late and truly great L. Books Patterson who ran Oakland county, Michigan for decades actually proposed (in jest for headlines) in the early 1970s, a wall built along Eight Mile Road. That is the separation line between the crime ridden and out of control City of Detroit and the suburbs. Good people had moved out in 1967 (riots) and later, and bad people stayed in Detroit and used and sold drugs, had daily driveby shootings, gang warfare, reached number one murders for any city in the US and daily carjackings and muggings. Good reason for a wall. It wasn't built.
