If it was up to Riverside County, California would have a new governor.
Final certified results posted Thursday, Sept. 30, by the county Registrar of Voters showed a slight majority of county voters in the Sept. 14 gubernatorial recall election wanted to remove Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom from office....
...Recall voters faced two ballot questions — should Newsom be recalled from office before his term expires at the end of next year and if so, who should replace him?
On the first question, 50.5% of Riverside County voters voted “Yes” and 49.5% voted “No.” The margin between “Yes” and “No” was 7,328 votes.
...As was the case statewide, Republican radio talk show host Larry Elder was the overwhelming choice of Riverside County voters who picked someone to replace Newsom. Elder won with 60.7% of the vote in the county on the question of who should take over for the governor.
In San Bernardino County, “No” held a roughly 2,900-vote lead over “Yes” — 50.26% to 49.74% — in the latest results....

What a bunch of goofballs. I’m not buying it. 🤪
Elections are laughable. The Soviet Union had them, and they didn’t come out that much different from California.
Well that’s right, of course Riverside County would kick him out of office, but they are an aberration for the larger part of the state, which is 2 to 1 blue… Give it up… Newsom is wholly fitting to liberal/socialist California but he wouldn’t work plugged into many other states. That’s just how it works.
Aren’t these counties 25%-45% Hispanic? Rats are gonna be in for a surprise next year all over the Southwest and TX.
I was born in Riverside at March Air Force Base. I have never been back since I was 2.
I haven’t seen any news concerning voting patterns. How much over 90% was democrat turnout? And I’m sure Mail in vote was just as high.
nope, Tokyo, not giving up. I’m an optimist. I figure in a few years some of those Rep states that turn blue folks will start looking for warmer pastures. And I’ll be right here with the welcome wagon, waving Reps coming back to Calif on through to the golden state. :)
Sure thing, pal, California is mostly Democrat because the voting results say so, and the Democrats would never ever cheat at elections, why Newsom was so sure he would win that he implemented mail in voting which is totally not a sign of fraud at all.....
NYT perspective back on sep 14
“Overall in the recall, registered Democrats outnumber Republicans by a 25-point margin in ballots recorded so far, 51 to 26 percent, according to figures from Political Data, a California-based data vendor.”

not as good a turnout as the 2020 election even with mailin and walk in voting
from the mercury news, in the 2020 election, turnout was 70% “the highest percentage since 1952” (this was heavy mail-in because of the pandemic). The recall election is looking closer to the 2018 election with 12 million ballots cast

Why do you question this realty? What’s your evidence or source that it is not Democrat @ 10,170,31 voters or 46.1% vs Republican @ 5,334,323 voters or 24.2% ? Please provide data or evidence.
Let’s hope so eh?
“Clearly California is mostly hardcore Democrats because the democrats always win there and we have seen no evidence of Democrats ever cheating”
See how you sound?
Why the hell would they want to cheat to the extent to secure them an election if that enjoy that kind of massive voter registration 2 to 1 over Republicans? Where the hell is the logic? Where is your evidence that cheating (which occurs) occurs to that extent? I can see them having much more a vested interest in cheating in a state that is battleground with something more along the line of 50/50 percent Democrap to Patriot registration.
