FEARS of World War Three continue to rise after China sent 25 military jets into Taiwan airspace today.
It's the second day in a row that Taiwan has been forced to scramble aircraft after Chinese jets entered its defence air zone.
Yesterday 19 Chinese fighter jets entered Taiwan's airspace mounting fears of another world war.
It marks the latest uptick in tensions across the Taiwan Strait.
The Chinese aircraft included 12 J-16 fighters and two nuclear-capable H-6 bombers, the ministry said.
It comes just days after China flew 10 fighter jets into Taiwan airspace after sending planes over 15 times in two weeks.
Beijing has sent different aircrafts including fighter jets, spotter planes and bombers into Taiwan's air defence identification zone (ADIZ) every day this month, except for September 2.

This has been going on since 1949 in one form or another. A couple of thoughts. China is Taiwan’s most important trading partner. If Taiwan suddenly reacts and shoots down a few planes then they’d need to be ready for the fallout. The fallout may include a loss of “allies” as Taiwan will be seen, or labeled, the aggressor. Taiwan hasn’t reacted as they are not ready to handle the fallout, which could easily be war. Taiwan will lose a huge number of people and the present government will likely fall. There are no good options for the Taiwanese government.
One reason the US has been so ambiguous in handling the Taiwan situation is to avoid giving Taiwan a blank check. They, rightly, feel they are on their own.
China is trying to provoke just such a reaction so they will have a cause of action. (Hey, it wasn’t us. They shot first.)
I think Taiwan has managed the situation about as well as they can. Starting something, or moving it to the next level when they have someone like Biden in office is a bad move. Taiwan’s objective is not to win. It is to avoid losing.
